Be sure when you watch these testimonies that you do so with discernment. I believe that sometimes these young people interject their own beliefs into what they have been shown. For example, after the rapture, Angelica Zambrano said that the Holy Spirit would no longer be on the earth. This isn't true. The Holy Spirit is GOD and as such - is OMNIPRESENT. Millions of people will be saved during the Time of Jacob's Trouble, all drawn by the power of the Holy Spirit. Zambrano also said that she saw people who were in hell for stealing, pastors who had stolen from the sheep. I believe this is true of any pastor that did such an odious thing and never repented and the same is true of any person who sins and then never repents, never comes to Jesus. Zambrano (whose testimony is very long (and yes, I watched all of it), also said that she saw souls in hell for not tithing. Well, this may very well be the case for those under the law. Tithing was part of the law, but tithing was NEVER commanded to New Testament CHRISTIANS under grace. Christians are told in the Pauline epistles to not give out of necessity, but to give cheerfully and as they were able. There is no mention anywhere of this 10% tithe that modern-day apostate preachers try to burden their congregations with, and all the while going back to Malachi or to the law to put a guilt trip on them about tithing. Paul took up collections for the poor saints in Jerusalem at the time of the famine there (from saints in other areas), but there was no mention of any sort of tithe, and certainly not a 10% tithe! The tithes in the Old Testament were tithes of food, crops, oil, herbs. They were tithes to help the widows and strangers in the land. How do you think YOUR pastor would feel if you brought 10% of your wheat crop and gave it to them (if you were a farmer)? They would throw it in your face! And where is the "tithe" that is supposed to go to the widows and poor strangers in the land? Is that being done today? NO! The tithe that people pay today goes to keep up a church building, keep the pastor and his/or her family in new cars and homes (and sometimes new Lear jets!) Millions of Christians have forgotten the fact that the "CHURCH" is the people, not the brick building that they attend every week! Remember that the early church Christians met in their HOMES!So, today they are spending a fortune on power bills for their "building", paying a fortune to keep the grounds and lawns mowed and manicured, paying a fortune to keep their buildings cleaned and pristine for that next program - whether it be a meeting of believers or a summer school vacation Bible study. Yet, many who attend these BUILDINGS go there for 30 years without ever learning a single word of scripture. Instead they are told how to get along with their friends, how to make more friends, how to deal with not getting that expected raise, how to think more of THEMSELVES. These huge monolith church buildings are equipped with the latest greatest surround-sound systems, flat screen TVs that would dwarf most people's entire home, and yes - even COFFEE bars and mini-restaurants! Wow! Eat, drink and be merry, right in the "sanctuary!" Many members of these "churches" haven't a clue how to even lead a lost soul to Christ (because they've never been led or never been taught how to, or because it isn't considered fashionable anymore!) Many of today's Christians are not looking for a heavenly home because they've already settled in down here for the long haul! Even when Abraham tithed to Melchizedek in the Old Testament, it was not his fortune he was tithing from. He had just returned from the slaughter of the kings and he was tithing from what he gained at that battle. If it were not for so many stupid SHEEPLE, many of these TV preaching con artists (wolves) with their mansions, summer houses, multi-million dollar savings accounts, six thousand dollar silk suits, and football stadium "churches," would starve to death within six weeks if they had to make an honest living and actually work with their hands for that next meal that came across their table. Little wonder that Jesus wanted to spit them out...Rene
