"He will take care of you"

Hello, John and Doves,
Here is a word of wisdom from my father: "Travel light." This means to confess and repent from your own sins, that guilt may not be a burden. It also means to forgive, and in fact bless, your enemies.
In this manner, you will escape the cast iron weights of anger and resentment that the Enemy would just love to chain to your ankles.
My mum had a different take on any situation, yet arriving at the same conclusion. Her words to me were these:
"Everything happens in your life for a reason, therefore always look for the advantage, the point of effective leverage." The idea is to take your anger, guilt, and resentment and throw them as a large, large rock [a small boulder, really] on the opposite end of the plank on which you are standing. It is like a parent suddenly sitting on a teeter-totter, and observing their kid being catapulted into the air. If you aim right, you will be launched onto a level you previously thought unreachable.
Here, then, are some supporting Scriptures:
1. Pray for your enemies.
" 'As I live,' says the LORD, "I take no pleasure in the death of the wicked, but rather in that he repent and live."
Ezekiel 33:11a [KJV paraphrased]
2. You are more than a conqueror in Christ Jesus.
"...[N]o weapon that is fashioned against you shall succeed, and you shall refute every tongue that rises against you in judgment. This is the heritage of the servants of the LORD and their vindication from me, declares the LORD.”
Isaiah 54:17 ESV
