Hello, John and Doves,
In the spirit of gaining prophetic understanding of the Tanakh and the Brit Chadashah, let us look to the example of Daniel the Navi. He was in the midst of confessing his sins and the sins of his people, Israel.
Then he was gifted with the visit of the angel who shared the prophecy of the seventy sevens.
The Good LORD honored His Word, where it is written,
The sacrifice you desire is a broken spirit. You will not reject a broken and repentant heart, O God.
Psalm 51:17 New Living Translation
Therefore, if we would have wisdom over and above worldly possessions, let us remember what Ya'akov said in the Brit Chadashah:
If you need wisdom, ask our generous God, and he will give it to you. He will not rebuke you for asking.
James 1:5 New Living Translation
How then do we appear before the Throne of HaShem [The Name = YHVH] when we pray? Let us do so without religious bigotry.
When you reflect on the ungodliness of modern society and of certain individuals therein, remind yourself,
"There, but for the grace of God, go I."
After all, it is written,
The temptations in your life are no different from what others experience. And God is faithful. He will not allow the temptation to be more than you can stand. When you are tempted, he will show you a way out so that you can endure.
1 Corinthians 10:13 New Living Translation
Remember, to love your neighbor, you do for him what he cannot do. In this case, you confess his sins on his behalf that, by the grace of The God of all Providence [Philippians 4:19], he may proceed straight to repentance, confessing to his wife and kids along the way towards righteousness.
In this manner, we avoid having haughty eyes towards our neighbor. We steer clear of one of the seven great abominations, as it is written,
16 There are six things the LORD hates—
no, seven things he detests:
17 haughty eyes,
a lying tongue,
hands that kill the innocent,
18 a heart that plots evil,
feet that race to do wrong,
19 a false witness who pours out lies,
a person who sows discord in a family.
20 My son, obey your father’s commands,
and don’t neglect your mother’s instruction.
21 Keep their words always in your heart.
Tie them around your neck.
22 When you walk, their counsel will lead you.
When you sleep, they will protect you.
When you wake up, they will advise you.
23 For their command is a lamp
and their instruction a light;
their corrective discipline
is the way to life.
Proverbs 6:16-23 New Living Translation
Now we immediately are hit by a prophetic insight:
Those individuals who exhibit these seven abominations are the Devil's snowmen.
They are present to snow the sheeple. It is written,
8 “Listen to this, you pleasure-loving kingdom,
living at ease and feeling secure.
You say, ‘I am the only one, and there is no other.
I will never be a widow or lose my children.’
9 Well, both these things will come upon you in a moment:
widowhood and the loss of your children.
Yes, these calamities will come upon you,
despite all your witchcraft and magic.
10 “You felt secure in your wickedness.
‘No one sees me,’ you said.
But your ‘wisdom’ and ‘knowledge’ have led you astray,
and you said, ‘I am the only one, and there is no other.’
11 So disaster will overtake you,
and you won’t be able to charm it away.
Calamity will fall upon you,
and you won’t be able to buy your way out.
A catastrophe will strike you suddenly,
one for which you are not prepared.
Isaiah 47:8-11 New Living Translation
Verily, it is written,
19 Because of the weakness of your human nature, I am using the illustration of slavery to help you understand all this. Previously, you let yourselves be slaves to impurity and lawlessness, which led ever deeper into sin. Now you must give yourselves to be slaves to righteous living so that you will become holy.
20 When you were slaves to sin, you were free from the obligation to do right. 21 And what was the result? You are now ashamed of the things you used to do, things that end in eternal doom. 22 But now you are free from the power of sin and have become slaves of God. Now you do those things that lead to holiness and result in eternal life. 23 For the wages of sin is death, but the free gift of God is eternal life through Christ Jesus our Lord.
