How does the Year of Lucifer or Anno Lucis configure astronomically in 2016 (5776)? The following are just some of the approximate main planetary conjunction and astronomical highlights for the year 2016. It appears that one of the most spectacular alignments occurs in August. It appears that the year is accented with eclipses at the beginning, then with the Mercury Transit in the middle and eclipses toward the end finishing off with the triple Supermoons. Will these dates in some ways correspond to certain events on Earth that might be significant or even Biblically prophetic? As an example the planetary conjunction of August 23, 2016 will be highlighted. August 23 is the 235th day of the year in the Gregorian calendar. There are 130 days remaining until the end of the year.
