"Tony's theory on the crowning of the wrong Miss Universe"

Tony made an interesting statement at http://www.fivedoves.com/letters/dec2015/tonye1227-1.htm in which he theorized that the crowning of the wrong Miss Universe may have been a hidden message from God due to some parallels with the book of Esther.  It may or may not have been a hidden message, but if it is, I just couldn't shake the idea that perhaps their country names, rather than personal names, had something to do with it, particularly since there is a connection.  Because I did find a connection between their country names and what happened, I thought I would send this on.

  • "Columbia" could be spelled "קלמביא[ה] ֵה", which could mean "Voice of the entrance" of "Voice of M_B_" (some name place).
  • "Philipines" could be spelled "פילפינס", which could mean "mouth for a miracle mouth".  "נס" can mean either "miracle" or "flee", the opposite of an entrance.

So spell these country names in Hebrew, and you have "voice" in one and "mouth" in the other.  You also have "entrance" in one and "flee" in the other.  Coincidence?  Maybe, maybe not.  Interpretatively, it sounds like it is saying God will do a miracle to replace a bad voice with a good one. But even that much fits HOW this thing happened, since there was a "bad" and "entering" voice by Steve Harvey announcing Miss Columbia as the winner, later corrected by his "good" voice to name miss Philipines as the winner. As Tony noted, "Steve means wreath, crown, honor & reward", and Steve Harvey was the one who crowned Miss Universe.

One thought: Trump owns the Miss Universe pageant.  Could this be related to Trump personally or the US elections somehow, if it means anything at all?  I don't know, and maybe it means nothing, but it sure is interesting to ponder on.

I find no connection to Miss Columbia's name to anything.  Miss Philipines was Pia Alonso, which could be spelled "פיה עלענשו"  meaning "her mouth concerning his punishment" or "פיה עלאנסו " which is "her mouth concerning his rape / compulsion."  Could that refer to God reversing a punishment?  The second one actually fits a past event in Trump's life, in that his first wife accused him of rape when they were going through a divorce (see http://www.ibtimes.com/donald-trump-ex-wife-rape-accusation-ivana-backtracks-violent-assault-allegations-2027626 for story).  She has since recanted that and way too many women have used allegations like that in the middle of a divorce simply to try and get something out of their ex or brand them as undesireable for the next woman who comes along in vengeance.  She now says the allegation was false and says glowing things about Trump.  Pia Alonso has also used the last names of Wurtzbach and Romero (stage name) in the past, but I see no fit with those names to anything relevant.

So the parallels in the names do fit an event in the pageant owner's past life.  You might wonder why it would not be about a future event.  Maybe its about a future impact (such as whether those false allegations would hurt him in the campaign).  But not only does Trump own the Miss Universe pageant, he recently bought out NBC's half ownership after he and NBC "divorced", adding yet another parallel to the situation.  Did God compel the mistake to happen to try and send a message?  Would Trump notice if He did?  Doesn't God send us this type of symbolism in dreams every night?  So would it be that strange if he did it during the day through real life?  I don't know the answer to that, but God does try to speak to us in many ways and we often DON'T notice it when he does.  I believe it is possible that this is the case, but I am not saying for sure it is.

Perhaps we should all pay more attention to the unusual in our lives and see if God is trying to tell us something in some small way.

Shalom,

Joe
