In today's newspaper on the back page

 

an article stood out as of being of

 

prophetic importance:

 

Ethiopia is in the midst of a severe

 

food crisis.  Drought is decimating crops

 

and herds, putting children at risk.

 

More than 10 million people are without a

 

steady supply of food, and soon there is

 

an estimate of at least 400,000 cases of

 

severe malnutrition among children under

 

age 5.  Only a third of monetary assistance

 

has been raise for emergency food assistance.

 

John Graham, director of an agency to help,

 

says he's been there 19 years, and "has never

 

seen a drought as serious as this."

 

REVELATION 6: 5 and 6

 

When He opened the third seal, I heard the

third living creature say, "Come and see."

So I looked, and behold, a black horse, and

he who sat on it had a pair of scales in his hand.

And I heard a voice in the midst of the four

living creatures saying, "A quart of wheat for

a denarius," and three quarts of barley for a

denarius; and do not harm the oil and the wine."
