"Kindling the Flame"

Kindling the Flame of Bridal Love
(Note: key words at bottom)

Bridal love is kindled:

The more you contemplate Jesus, your heavenly
Bridegroom, the more you think about Him, the
more your heart converses with Him, the more
your tongue declares who He is.

Through every fresh encounter with your Bridegroom
as you speak with Him.

When you make more room in your heart for Jesus
by removing whatever displeases Him.

Through dedication.

When you stay close to Jesus, your heavenly
Bridegroom, sharing His pathway.

When you trust in Jesus, your Heavenly Bridegroom.

When you do everything with Jesus, throughout
each day.

When you do everything for His sake
(the words for You spring from the heart, especially
in difficult tasks).

When you come to the cross in repentance.
Lack of repentance quenches the flame of love.
Repentance fans it into a flame.

When sorrow over sin moves you to repentance
and restores you to fellowship with Jesus.

When, as a Bride, you reflect on the essential
nature of your heavenly bridegroom ---His love.

When you live in expectation of Jesus' second
coming.

As you pronounce His name.

When you come apart with the Lord, seeking
times of quietness and solitude alone with Him.

At the beginning of the book,
the author equates FIRST love with BRIDAL love.
In Revelation, we are to restore our First (Bridal) love
for the Bridegroom.
