Nando - your post linked below. Fascinating. Certainly not beyond the realms of reality. I have posted on Doves re my experience with an intelligent sphere of light that defied all the laws of physics. The RAF and Luftwaffe experienced these spheres of light, during the 2nd world war - naming them "Foo Fighters". Anyway - this got me thinking. It's not unrealistic to think our LORD may return in a space ship - hidden by clouds. We've all seen the weird space ship shaped clouds on the internet. Let's face it - they are bizarre. NOT your every day clouds, you understand ! Now, ponder on the info below:;
In Acts 1:9-12 (the Ascension) a cloud received LORD Jesus to heaven. The two witnesses (men in white) tell the men of Galilee that "this same Jesus, who was taken from you into heaven, will come back in like manner, as you saw Him go into heaven". Hmmmm - those clouds again. Plus two witnesses (the men in white).
Matthew 17 tells us (re The Transfiguration) that a bright cloud covered Jesus and the two witnesses (Moses and Elijah). Clouds again. Two witnesses from heaven - again.
Luke 21:27 tells us that our LORD Jesus will be coming back in a cloud with power and great glory.
Revelation 1:7 says "Look, He is coming with the clouds".
Jesus went through a BODILY resurrection. Although Jesus always had super powers, He was very much human flesh and blood. He ate and drank. Breathed oxygen etc. Our LORD was subject to the same laws of earthly physics as we are (with a powerful tweak or two, in His favour) For obvious reasons.
Lord Jesus told us, in scripture, that He would not drink wine again until He comes back for us. This tells me that He is coming back as a resurrected, albeit transformed, human being. With a human beings needs. i.e. food and drink. Oxygen. Therefore - some sort of highly advanced space craft may well be His mode of transport. God's laws (physics as well as biblical) apply to the universe. My reasoning tells me that our LORD Jesus is subject to these laws as well - albeit with the super powers of being LORD. Jesus is going to return for us in a way that makes sense to our physical world. Although we will be transformed to immortal, we will still be subject to the laws of God's set physics for this mortal world.. Man - I hope this is making sense to you all. I can't type fast enough with all the thoughts jamming their way in ! Please, please bear with me.
The New Jerusalem is a massive, gorgeous, physical city. It is described - in exquisite detail - in scripture. It's not some ethereal wisp of fantasy. It is physical and matches our earthly perception of reality. It's a solid, real city. Maybe New Jerusalem is making it's way here? What people are calling "Planet X"???
We cannot dismiss anything out of hand. Please watch the clip and check up on the scripture links. Most intriguing. Exciting !!!
