REASONS WHY THE RAPTURE
MAY BE SOON
1.
Israel situation: It is
inevitable that Israel will strike
Iran
(and probably Damascus
as well) - nuclear war in mid-East. (Once
escaped, that Genie will never be put back in the
bottle.) Israel
has told the world, repeatedly, that they will not
allow Iran
to get a nuclear
bomb. Historically,
they have twice before destroyed the reactors of
neighboring countries when they got close . . . . both
Iraq
and Syria. There is
little doubt but that they will do so again, when Iran
gets close to a completed nuclear weapon. You
KNOW that Israel
has good intelligence on this subject. Russia
supplied the reactor to Iran
and has promised retaliation against Israel. This could
be any day now – literally – but probably latter 2016. (See
Isaiah 17:1 relative to the destruction of Damascus). The
PA agreement with Hamas permanently killed the John
Kerry peace negotiations. (See: 10 Things You Need to Know

If the Iran
deal guarantees war–as argued by a former adviser to
Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu–then the
only question is when.
It is clear that Israel
has preserved its options of self-defense; it is equally
clear that it has legal justification for war against Iran,
given Iran’s
constant threats to destroy the Jewish state, its terror
attacks against Israeli targets worldwide, and its
arming of terror groups in Gaza
and Lebanon.
Still, the question of
when Israel
will attack Iran–and
at this stage, it is clear the U.S.
will not–depends on four key factors.
Iran’s
capabilities. Iran
is still relatively weak. It has no significant air
defenses, its economy is struggling, and its forces
are tied down in regional wars. Over time, however, Iran
will become much stronger. Sanctions relief will
provide cash and armaments, which Iran
will also provide to Hezbollah and Hamas (or other
Palestinian groups). New Russian S-300 surface-to-air
missiles will complicate any attack, and Iran
may soon have a ballistic missile deterrent. This factor
favors an attack very soon–perhaps even before the
Iran deal can go
into effect.
Israel’s
capabilities. Though Israel
has a very effective deterrent, in the form of nuclear
submarines, Israel
has very limited capacity to launch an attack against
Iran.
Iran’s
nuclear facilities are scattered, hidden, and buried,
and the possible flight times and paths present great
logistical difficulties. However, Israel’s
capabilities tend to increase rapidly over time–as
they have in the area of missile defense, which has
helped it minimize rocket threats from Gaza
and Lebanon.
This factor
favors an attack on Iran
later–though not too late.
Diplomatic
context. Israel
is always relatively isolated in the world, which
means that its wars are always short–i.e. they last
until the UN imposes a cease-fire. Against Iran,
Israel
may be even more isolated (as President Barack Obama
implied Wednesday). Therefore any war with Iran
would have to be overwhelmingly effective and
one-sided in Israel’s
favor. That
favors a surprise attack and possibly even a
non-conventional attack, or one using hitherto
unknown weapons. It also means Israel might wait
until after the U.S. election in
2016 to strike.
God help us all if Clinton wins the
White house.
A strike within a day or two of the
elections – or, the inauguration -- would make
sense.
Targets.
A war with Iran
would have at least three fronts. One would be the set
of targets in Iran
itself. Another would be the battle against Iran’s
terror proxies on Israel’s
borders (including, now, the Syrian frontier - Remember
the Isaiah 17 prophecy about Damascus. ).
The third would be global, as Iran
attacked Israeli and Jewish targets. Israel
might choose to attack Hezbollah first (and Hamas,
perhaps with Egyptian help) before targeting Iran,
removing Iran’s
major deterrent. Alternatively, it might go beyond an
attack on Iran’s
nuclear facilities and try to target the regime itself
in a “decapitation” strike.

According to a report in March 2014 by the
Israeli daily Haaretz,
Israel
continues to prepare for a strike on Iran’s
nuclear facilities. Quoting anonymous members of the
Knesset who were present during hearings on the military
budget, officials in the Israel Defense Force (IDF) have
allegedly received instructions to continue preparing
for a strike and a special budget has been allocated for
that purpose. However, conducting a military operation
against Iran’s
key nuclear facilities would be a challenging task for
the Israeli military. The distance from Israel
to the Iranian nuclear sites is such that any strike
using the air force would be challenging on its fuel
capacity. Allocating tanker planes to the mission could
alleviate part of this concern. Nonetheless, Israeli
jets can’t spend too much time in Iranian airspace
before the mission itself is in jeopardy. Engaging Iran’s
air force in dogfights must be avoided. Therefore,
surprise will be a necessary element in a successful
Israeli mission.
A successful surprise attack is not easy to
achieve. It rests on the ability to deceive the
adversary. In general, a deception strategy might
involve several elements, related to the timing of the
operation, the military platforms involved, the targets,
the routes chosen to the targets, the munitions used,
and so on. There are several potential obstacles. First,
preparations for conducting a military operation must be
made without revealing the main elements of the
surprise. Second, the political decision must be made
covertly, that is, without revealing the timing of the
operation. Could Israel

In a proposal posted Sunday, May 11, 2014
on the INSS website, Yadlin argues that Israel
has more than the two options usually discussed—a peace
agreement and the status quo. According to Yadlin,
Israel’s four strategic options are as follows: (1) a
peace agreement along the parameters established by
former U.S. President Bill Clinton at Camp David in
2000, (2) an “unacceptable” peace agreement on
Palestinian terms, (3) a status quo in which the
Palestinians can dictate their own terms, or, (4) a
status quo in which the Israelis dictate their own
terms.

A most interesting post by an
IDF source (a captain) . . . which is dated in October
of 2013.
“A couple of years ago a very important document
was leaked from the Israeli military to liberal media
hands and immediately was published. It was a detailed
description of the action plan if needed to deal with
the Iranian nuclear threat. “
The Israeli attack will open
with a coordinated strike, including an unprecedented
cyber-attack, which will totally paralyze the Iranian
regime and its ability to know what is happening within
its borders. The internet, telephones, radio and
television, communications satellites, and fiber optic
cables leading to and from critical installations,
including underground missile bases at Khorramabad and Isfahan,
will be taken out of action.
The electrical grid throughout Iran
will be paralyzed and transformer stations will absorb
severe damage from carbon fiber munitions, which are
finer than a human hair, causing electrical short
circuits whose repair requires their complete removal.
This would be a Sisyphean task in light of cluster
munitions, which would be dropped, some time-delayed and
some remote-activated through the use of a satellite
signal.
A barrage of tens of ballistic
missiles would be launched from Israel
toward Iran.
300km ballistic missiles would be launched from Israeli
submarines in the vicinity of the Persian
Gulf. The missiles would not be armed with
unconventional warheads [WMD], but rather with
high-explosive ordnance equipped with reinforced tips
designed specially to penetrate hardened targets.
The missiles will strike their
targets—some exploding above ground like those striking
the nuclear reactor at Arak–which is intended to produce
plutonium and tritium—and the nearby heavy water
production facility; the nuclear fuel production
facilities at Isfahan and facilities for enriching
uranium-hexafluoride. Others would explode under-ground,
as at the Fordo facility.
A barrage of hundreds of cruise
missiles will pound command and control systems,
research and development facilities, and the residences
of senior personnel in the nuclear and missile
development apparatus. Intelligence gathered over years
will be utilized to completely decapitate Iran’s
professional and command ranks in these fields.
After the first wave of attacks,
which will be timed to the second, the “Blue and White”
radar satellite, whose systems enable us to perform an
evaluation of the level of damage done to the various
targets, will pass over Iran.
Only after rapidly decrypting the satellite’s data, will
the information be transferred directly to warplanes
making their way covertly toward Iran.
These IAF planes will be armed with electronic warfare
gear previously unknown to the wider public, not even
revealed to our U.S.
ally. This equipment will render Israeli aircraft
invisible. Those Israeli warplanes which participate in
the attack will damage a short-list of targets which
require further assault.
Among the targets approved for
attack—Shihab 3 and Sejil ballistic missile silos,
storage tanks for chemical components of rocket fuel,
industrial facilities for producing missile control
systems, centrifuge production plants and more.
Israel
keeps exercising and all of our systems are ready for
action if needed,
Prime minister Netanyahu made it
VERY clear to the International community from the stage
of the UN General assembly earlier this month:
"Israel
will never acquiesce to nuclear arms in the hands of a
rogue regime that repeatedly promises to wipe us off the
map. Against such a threat, Israel
will have no choice but to defend itself.
I want there to be no confusion
on this point. Israel
will not allow Iran
to get nuclear weapons.
If Israel
is forced to stand alone, Israel
will stand alone. Yet in standing alone, Israel
will know that we will be defending many, many others.”
In the meantime, While Iranian
President Hassan Rohani tries to ease friction with the
United States,
chants of "death to America"
on Friday may deepen doubts in the West that Tehran
is ready for a deal as talks on its nuclear program
resume next week.
"America
is the great Satan," Friday prayer leader Ayatollah
Ahmad Khatami told worshippers at Tehran
University,
the main venue for Friday prayers in Iran.
Moderation I guess is only in
the minds of the liberal media and politicians of the

years ago) the NY Times reported that USA
told Israel
that it would take at least a year for Iran
to make a nuclear weapon.

. . . . According to press reports, the multilateral
nuclear talks with Iran
failed to reach a final agreement by a Nov. 24 deadline
and will be extended into next year. A new deadline for
a "political framework" has been set for March 1, 2015;
a final agreement is to be reached by July 1. (Which never
happened.)
This outcome is only marginally
better than a bad deal since it will extend a terrible
interim agreement struck with Iran
last November that set the stage for this year's
negotiations. The interim agreement has many serious
flaws, the most serious of which was conceding to Iran
the right to enrich uranium by allowing it to continue
to enrich. Also,
this deal has never been signed by Iran.
While media outlets are
emphasizing other disagreements that caused the nuclear
talks to miss Monday's deadline — especially Iran's
demand for immediate and complete sanctions relief — the
Obama administration's reckless concession on uranium
enrichment is at the heart of the impasse in the
negotiations.
Uranium enrichment is the
process of concentrating the rare fissile isotope
uranium-235 (U-235), which composes only 0.71 percent of
natural uranium, to make nuclear fuel. Light-water
nuclear reactors like Iran's
Bushehr reactor need uranium fuel enriched to 3.5
percent to 5 percent U-235. Weapons-grade fuel is
enriched to about 90 percent U-235.
The U.S.
uranium enrichment concession reversed years of Western
policy and U.N. Security Council resolutions demanding
that Iran
halt enrichment and stop building enrichment
centrifuges. When the U.S.
first made the startling proposal in May 2012 to allow Iran
to enrich uranium to reactor-grade, it radically
transformed the debate over the Iranian nuclear program
in Tehran's
favor.
Since Sept 2014 has come and
gone, can the world make it until Sept 2015 or September
2016? Only
time will tell.
Prossor: Our
conflict has never been about the establishment of a Palestinian

An openly transgender Episcopal priest is set to
preach at Washington National Cathedral. The
Rev. Dr. Cameron Partridge, the Episcopal chaplain at Boston
University,
will be a guest preacher on Sunday. He'll be the first
openly transgender priest to preach from Canterbury
Pulpit at the cathedral.
The Right Rev. Gene Robinson, the first openly
gay Episcopal bishop, will preside at the service. It's
part of the cathedral's celebration of LGBT pride month. The
service will also include readings and prayers from
members of the lesbian, gay, bisexual and transgender
community.
On Friday, November 14, 2014
the Washington National Cathedral was filled with the
sounds of Muslim prayers.
Muslims and people of other religious traditions
have participated in Christian or Interfaith services at
the Cathedral in the past. However, the November 14, 2014
event marks the first time American Muslims have been
invited to lead their own traditional Jummah prayer
inside the same sacred space that has hosted
presidential funerals and other national religious
services.
The service was briefly
interrupted by a lone protester who, according to the
NBC4, shouted, "Why can't you worship in your mosque,
and leave our churches alone?" The woman was quickly
escorted from the sacred space.
The Cathedral’s director of
liturgy, Rev. Canon Gina Gilland Campbell, said the
incident happened at the very beginning of the service
and "did not dampen the day”.
For the first time in history, Islamic
prayers and readings from the Satanic Quran will be
heard at the Vatican Mass on Sunday, June 15, 2014,
in a move by Pope Francis to usher in peace between

Hamad Chebli delivered an Islamic prayer praising
Allah from the House floor November 13, while Boehner
and other House Republicans bow their heads in
agreement and respect.
Perhaps the most disturbing line from Chebli’s
prayer is his declaration that America
recognizes Allah as their god, saying “Thee do WE
worship.”
Although Obama and the rest of
the administration paint Chebli as a moderate, peaceful
Muslim, he is anything but moderate. Shoebat.com

terrorist Hassan Khaled:
Chebli’s mentor, Khaled, who was
the Mufti of Lebanon
was “martyred” after a bomb was set up which killed him
and others. His father went the same way “martyred” by a
bombing. Have a look at Khaled, the fiery revolutionist
exhorting a crowd to chant, ‘Allahu Akbar.’ Prior to
Khaled’s fallout with the PLO’s Yasser Arafat, he was a
champion and supporter of Palestinian terrorism against
Israel
to sending terrorist recruits from Lebanon.
Khaled, the man’s mentor is even
featured prominently on the official Muslim Brotherhood
website. And
in the same footsteps as Khaled, Chelbi also traveled to
Egypt
to study at Al-Azhar
University,
the world’s oldest university and center for Brotherhood
jurisprudence. It was during this time that Chelbi’s
mentor Khaled was chosen as the nation’s foremost
Islamic legal scholar in the Sunni Muslim sect.
Allowing an Imam to claim America
for Islam in the very building in which federal laws are
written is an abomination. Housing the most dangerous
enemy of Christianity and Western civilization in the
archetype of our nation’s faith is unforgivable. Not
only are we harboring the enemy, we are exalting and
admiring them on a pedestal.
We now have an elected official
sworn in on a Quoran rather than a Bible.

Do we see the "handwriting
on the wall" that we are at an unprecedented tipping
point? Are we aware that America
is rapidly spiraling into a lawless culture similar to
Germany
of a generation ago?
From an essay entitled “The
Great Deception in the American Church” we get the
following statistics:
America has the highest percentage of
single-parent families in the industrialized world, the
highest abortion rate, the highest rate of sexually
transmitted diseases, the highest rate of teenage birth
by far, the highest rate of teenage drug use and the
largest prison population per capita than any country in
the world.
We no longer speak the same
language, worship the same God, honor the same heroes or
share the same holidays. Christmas and Easter have been
privatized. Columbus
is reviled. Stonewall Jackson and Robert E. Lee are out
of the pantheon. Cesar Chavez is in. Our
politics have become poisonous. Our political parties
are at each other’s throats. Christianity is in decline.
Traditional churches are sundering over moral issues
like abortion and same-sex marriage. Islam is surging. Our
society seems to be disintegrating. Over 40 percent of
all births now are illegitimate. Among Hispanics, the
figure is 52 percent. Among African-Americans, 73
percent.
And among children born to
single moms, the drug use rate and the dropout rate, the
crime rate and the incarceration rate, are many times

Krauthammer: High Out-of-Wedlock
Birth Rate a 'Catastrophe'

Conservative pundit and psychiatrist Charles
Krauthammer says the exploding out-of-wedlock
birthrate has been a "catastrophe" on society. Responding
to a new Pew Research Center study that found only 46
percent of children are being raised in a family with
two heterosexual parents in their first marriage,
Krauthammer said Thursday on Fox News Channel's "The
O'Reilly Factor" that a child born to a single mother
faces not only poverty, but disadvantages in
education, discipline, and socialization. Out-of-wedlock
births were at 5 percent in 1960 and now are 41
percent. Krauthammer said the major reason for the
explosion is not lack of birth control, but the lack
of stigma that was once attached to what were then
called "illegitimate" births.
People want to be humane and
sympathetic to an individual in the situation, but when
expanded society-wide, the lack of stigma is harmful, he
said.
"It's like food stamps,"
Krauthammer said. "For an individual who is hungry it’s
a good thing. For society in general when you're at 50,
60 million [people] on food stamps, it's a bad thing."
Consider also the great moral
decline of the last generation (50 to 60 years) and
these telling statistics in America.
The divorce rate has doubled, teen suicide has tripled,
reported violent crime has quadrupled, the prison
population has quintupled, the percentage of babies born
out of wedlock has risen sixfold, couples living
together out of wedlock have increased sevenfold, and
gay marriage is now a legalized reality in a number of
states, with many believing the end is not in sight.
In this past generation,
we have experienced an overwhelming increase in
lawlessness, permissiveness and selfishness, even
among Christians. Moral actions that were unthinkable
a few decades ago are now commonplace—Christian
leaders indulging in sexual sin and grossly immoral
scandals, addicted to pornography and accompanied by
an exploding divorce rate have greatly factored in the
rapid decrease of morals in the American church. And
as the church goes, so goes the world. In fact, the
results of a survey among young American adults showed
that the percentage who follow biblically based values
for living has now dropped from 65 percent to a mere 4
percent since World War II.
There has never been a
society in the history of mankind whose moral values
have deteriorated so dramatically, in such a short
period of time, as those of Americans in the last 50
years. And so far it shows no sign of stopping. These
statistics are eye-opening, and they serve to warn us
that something is terribly wrong with our brand of
Christianity. They reveal how poorly the church has
communicated the true gospel to mainstream America.

marijuana was just a 'bad habit' no more dangerous than
consuming alcohol," Grassley, an Iowa Republican, said
on his website. "He also indicated he thought it was
'important' for the legalization of recreational
marijuana under state law in Colorado
and Washington
to 'go forward.' Attorney General Holder has also
recently stated that he's 'cautiously optimistic' about
the legalization of recreational marijuana in those
states."
"When kids receive the message
that marijuana use is acceptable and even welcome, it’s
no wonder that the perception of harm from marijuana
goes down," Grassley said. Grassley's cautionary
remarks came as the National Institutes of Health
released a study showing a majority of high school
seniors don't think occasionally smoking marijuana is
harmful – and that only 16.4 percent of high schoolers
thought pot puts people at risk, down from 27.4 percent
in 2009.
"By offering pro-marijuana
messages, the president and his top appointees are
working at cross purposes with the federal government
experts who are trying to stop drug use among
teenagers," said Grassley, ranking member of the
Judiciary Committee and co-chairman of the Caucus on
International Narcotics Control.
As more states are poised to
legalize medicinal marijuana, it's looking like dope
is playing a larger role as a cause of fatal traffic
accidents.
Columbia
University
researchers performing a toxicology examination of
nearly 24,000 driving fatalities concluded that
marijuana contributed to 12% of traffic deaths in
2010, tripled from a decade earlier.
NHTSA studies have found drugged
driving to be particularly prevalent among younger
motorists. One in eight high school seniors responding
to a 2010 survey admitted to driving after smoking
marijuana. Nearly a quarter of drivers killed in
drug-related car crashes were younger than 25. Likewise,
nearly half of fatally injured drivers who tested
positive for marijuana were younger than 25.
A National Highway Traffic
Safety Administration study found that 4% of drivers
were high during the day and more than 6% at night, and
that nighttime figure more than doubled on weekends. Colorado
has seen a spike in driving fatalities in which
marijuana alone was involved, according to
Insurance.com. The trend started in 2009 — the year
medical marijuana dispensaries were effectively
legalized at the state level.

commentary that America was “founded by men who believed

God,” this judgment can be lessened through prayer.

wicked as Sodom and Gomorrah ever were, and as deserving
of the judgment of God, God would spare us if we were

this culture is difficult because “we have taken God out
of our educational systems and thought we could get away
with it,” said Rev. Graham. “We have sown the wind, and

This country is addicted
to excess debt and to mortgaging the future in order
to pay for luxuriously high living, beyond our means,
in the present.
We have “bet the farm” that the US Greenback
will always be the reference currency of the world. That
has enabled the country to borrow an impossibly large
sum of money. Come
the day when that is no longer true, this country will
be in deep, deep trouble. . . . . . simply because the USA
is already hopelessly in debt . . . . 18 Trillion
Dollars is an impossibly large sum of money. (That is
just the visible part of the debt.) According
to David Jeremiah (The Coming Economic Armageddon), by
honest accounting methods, the real debt exceeds 120
Trillion.
The government will continue to print money, as
needed, but the currency loses value as more and more
is printed. At
some point it becomes worthless. Our
Social Security system is a gigantic Ponzi scheme. Contrary
to popular belief, the tax money to fund Social
Security is spent for current expenses as soon as it
is taken in. . . . there is no reserve trust fund. The
entire system of entitlements for Social
Security/Medicare/Welfare will soon become an
impossible burden as more and more people become
eligible for benefits and fewer and fewer wage earners
are available to carry the load. Even at the
present time, the welfare system no longer takes in as
much as it pays out.
State, County, and City Retirement funds are
universally under funded. Forty percent of the
Federal Budget is funded by borrowed money. When this
country is no longer able to borrow money, the
economic collapse will take place quickly.
In a stunning Tuesday (1/13/15)
report, Gallup CEO and Chairman Jim Clifton revealed
that “for the first time in 35 years, American business
deaths now outnumber business births.” Clifton
says for the past six years since 2008, employer
business startups have fallen below the business failure
rate, spurring what he calls “an underground earthquake”
that only stands to worsen as lagging U.S. Census data
becomes available.
“Let’s get one thing clear: This economy is never
truly coming back unless we reverse the birth and death

Indeed, the numbers are
striking. Contrary to the oft-cited 26 million
businesses in America
figure, Clifton
says 20 million of these so-called “businesses” are
merely companies on paper with zero workers, profits,
customers, or sales. In reality, America
has just 6 million businesses with one or more
employers–3.8 million of which have four or fewer
employees. In total, these 6 million U.S.
companies provide jobs for more than 100 million people
in America. Of the
2.2 million job-creating companies with five or more
workers, the numbers break down accordingly:
There are about a
million companies with five to nine employees, 600,000
businesses with 10 to 19 employees, and 500,000
companies with 20 to 99 employees. There are 90,000
businesses with 100 to 499 employees. And there are
just 18,000 with 500 employees or more, and that
figure includes about a thousand companies with 10,000
employees or more. Altogether, that is America, Inc. The
Gallup CEO says the numbers paint an ominous portrait
of America
in a dire state of decline. “I don’t want to sound
like a doomsayer, but when small and medium-sized
businesses are dying faster than they’re being born,
so is free enterprise,” says Clifton.
“And when free enterprise dies, America
dies with it.”

McCaul, chairman of House Homeland Security Committee,
is warning that the Sunni terrorist group taking over
cities in Iraq is a danger not only in the region, but
also to the United States. The region, now being ruled

surpassing what we saw before 9/11 in Afghanistan and
Pakistan," McCaul said Sunday on "Face the Nation." "This

Chief: Matter of Time Before Enemies Hack US Power Grid

The U.S.
power grid and other crucial infrastructures have been
penetrated by the Chinese and other governments, posing
a serious threat to shut down the systems and create
chaos through cyber-attacks. Adm. Michael Rogers, head of
both the National Security Agency (NSA) and the U.S.
Cyber Command, a military arm charged with dealing with
cyber-warfare, told the House Intelligence Committee
that the U.S. is vulnerable to such attacks, which could
shut down utilities, fuel and water delivery, aviation,
banking and other computer-based systems, CNN reports. "It is
only a matter of the when, not the if, that we are going
to see something traumatic," he told the committee.
A report from cyber-security
firm Mandiant notes that a shadowy hacker operation that
it calls APT1 has been infiltrating U.S.
business and government sites. Mandiant believes APT1 to be
the 2nd Bureau of the People's Liberation Army,
operating out of Shanghai,
and has "systematically stolen hundreds of terabytes of
data from at least 141 organizations." Rogers
told the committee that by infiltrating systems, the
hackers leave behind malware which "enables (them) to
shut down very segmented, very tailored parts of our
infrastructure that forestall the ability to provide
that service to us as citizens," CNN reports. He
noted that there are "probably one or two" other
countries with the same capabilities, but declined to
name them. However, cyber-security experts have
identified Russia
as another threat.
"We see them (Chinese)
attempting to steal information on how our systems are
configured, the very schematics of most of our control
systems, down to engineering level of detail so they
can look at where are the vulnerabilities, how are
they constructed, how could I get in and defeat them,"
Rogers told the committee, CNN reported.
A recent analysis shows the
Electric Grid Vulnerable to EMP and witnesses say it

on Capitol Hill warned that an electromagnetic pulse

the House Homeland Security Committee’s Subcommittee on
Cyber-security, Infrastructure Protection, and Security
Technologies explored the effects an EMP would have.
“Some would say it’s low
probability, but the damage that could be caused in the
event of an EMP attack, both by the sun, a solar event,
or a man-made attack, would be catastrophic,” said Rep.
Michael McCaul (R., Texas). “We talk a lot about a
nuclear bomb in Manhattan,
and cyber-security threat to the power grid in the
Northeast, and all of these things would actually
probably pale in comparison to the devastation that an
EMP attack could perpetrate on Americans.”
Rep. Trent Franks (R., Ariz.),
who has worked to raise awareness on the issue for
years, testified during the first panel that
“catastrophic civilian casualties” could result unless
Congress acts. An
overload of radio waves to electric systems, an EMP
could result from a natural disaster, such as a solar
storm, or a terrorist attack. Franks said “every single
facet of modern human life” would be “crippled” by such
an event.
“It strikes at my very core when
I think of the men, women, and children in cities and
rural towns across America
with a possibility of no access to food, water, or
transportation,” he said. “In a matter of weeks or
months at most, a worst-case scenario could bring
devastation beyond imagination.” Franks
told the Washington Free Beacon that while the nation’s
critical defense assets, including nuclear defense
capabilities, are currently protected against an EMP,

fought a nuclear war, who would win? You might
be surprised by the answer. Under the Obama administration,
the rapidly aging U.S.
strategic nuclear arsenal has been shrinking. Meanwhile,
the Russians have been developing an entirely new
generation of bombers, submarines and missiles that
have the capability of delivering an absolutely
crippling first strike.
At this point, most Americans consider a
full-scale nuclear war to be inconceivable. But in Russia
attitudes are completely different. To the
Russians, the United
States is enemy
number one these days and the Russians are feverishly
preparing for a potential military showdown. Of course
the Russians don’t actually want to have to resort to
nuclear war. Such
an event would be an unspeakable horror for the entire
globe. But
if one does happen, the Russians want to make sure
that they are the ones that come out on top.
A lot of Americans are still
operating under the faulty assumption that the doctrine
of “mutually assured destruction” still applies. The thinking
was that both sides had so many nuclear missiles that a
launch by one side would guarantee the destruction of
both parties.
But since that time, so much has
changed.
For one, the U.S.
nuclear arsenal is far, far smaller than it was back
then. Back
in 1967, the U.S.
military possessed more than 31,000 strategic nuclear
warheads. Now,
we only have 1,642 deployed, and that number is
scheduled to be further reduced to about 1,500.
Sadly, reducing the size of our
nuclear arsenal by close to 95 percent is not enough for
anti-nuke crusader Barack Obama. He has spoken
of unilaterally reducing the size of our strategic
nuclear arsenal down to just 300 warheads.
During this same time period,
the Russians have been developing some very impressive
stealth delivery systems which have the capability of
hitting targets inside the United
States within just
minutes of an order being issued. This is
particularly true of their submarine-launched missiles. The newest
Russian subs have the ability to approach our coastlines
without us even knowing that they are there. If the
Russians came to the conclusion that war with the United
States was
unavoidable, an overwhelming first strike using
submarine-based missiles could potentially take out
nearly our entire arsenal before we even knew what hit
us. And if
the Russians have an anti-ballistic missile system that
can intercept the limited number of rockets that we can
launch in return, they may be able to escape relatively
unscathed.
In order for “mutually assured
destruction” to work, we have to see the Russian
missiles coming and have enough time to order a launch
of our own. Thank
to emerging technologies, the balance of power has
fundamentally shifted.
The old way of thinking simply does not apply
anymore and the Russians understand this.

new leaves in 1948 when it came out of dormancy. . . .

That is the generation of 1948. . . . gives
2011 to 2021, if a generation = 70 to 80 years, (per
Psalm 90:10).
This line of reasoning gives us a 10 year
window: 2011
to 2021. We
are already 3 years into that window.

Al Arabiya.net has recently
described the current standoff between the West and Moscow
concerning Ukraine
as potentially the gravest instance of tension in the
post-Cold War era. The tensions between Russia
and the West seem to be causing some significant
geopolitical re-alignments following Russia’s
recent political aggressions in relation to Ukraine
and Crimea.
Against the backdrop of this
increasing tension between the West and Russia, Iran and
the P5+1 (the U.S., Russia, France, China, Britain and
Germany) started their diplomatic negotiations to make
headway on the nuclear dispute, which would ideally be a
lasting accord permanently resolving the decade-long
nuclear standoff and averting the threat of another war
in the Middle East.
Dr. Majid Rafizadeh in an
article for Al Arabiya.net, opines that should the
Russian-West standoff over the Ukraine
crisis continue, Moscow
is more likely to play the “Iran
card” by changing its stance on Iran’s
nuclear talks, in a retaliatory high-stakes gamble to
counter sanctions by the United
States and the
European Union.
The Russian position, and its
demands on Iran’s
nuclear program, is likely to become less firm.
Generally, China
has followed the Russian position in the nuclear
negotiations. The Ukraine crisis and the Russia-West
standoff might not interfere with reaching a final
nuclear deal between Tehran and the P5+1, but the terms
of the agreement are likely to be much less strict on
Tehran as Russia and the Islamic Republic strengthen
ties and feel less pressured to cooperate with or make
concessions to the West.
Russia
and China
(who reluctantly supported the four rounds of U.N.
sanctions against Iran
and later condemned the unilateral sanctions), can now
focus more on their own terms and agenda, including
building nuclear reactors for Iran.
In mid March, Iran’s
state-run Press TV reportedly announced that Putin and
Iranian President Hassan Rowhani agreed that Moscow
would build two additional nuclear power plants for Tehran
and construct new facilities next to Iran’s
power plant in the city of Bushehr.
Dr. Rafizadeh points out several
factors that contribute to these converging geopolitical
security interests, pivoted around the emerging
Russia/Iran axis:
(1). Putin and Iranian Supreme
Leader Ayatollah Ali Khamenei resisting Western hegemony
in the Middle East.
(2). Russia
and Iran
are attempting to establish themselves as key and
influential geopolitical and strategic players in the
region.
(3). Putin and Iranian leaders
are attempting to restore their regionally and
internationally wounded prestige and pride. From their
perspective, the international community lacks respect
towards Moscow
and Tehran’s
influence and power. Dr. Rafizadeh gives Syria
as an example where the two nations are working together
by ratcheting up the amount of political and economic
capital they spend to secure Assad’s stay in power.
An additional factor highlighted
in osnetdaily.com is that both Moscow
and Tehran
see the opportunity to cushion each other economically
from the sanctions they face from the west. Part of the
mutual benefits include a broad bilateral economic
package that may be in place by August 2014. This
political marriage seems to be much more about the
Rouhani government seeking to consolidate Iran’s
newfound nuclear status in the face of deep Western
reservations than it is a reflection of an abiding
commitment to Russia
as a principal commercial and trading partner.
In addition, for China,
its current interests are to strengthen strategic ties
with Moscow
and Tehran
for security. The Ukraine
crisis has moved Moscow,
Tehran, and
Beijing
closer to one another to counterbalance the West and
resist Western hegemony, providing a platform for them
to create the strategic geopolitical axis in the region.

the South and East China seas, China
is aggressively seeking to expand its maritime borders.
It has made significant headway in both these areas with
a muscular military approach designed to intimidate
American regional allies like Japan
and the Philippines.
America’s
feeble response to Putin’s aggression in Crimea
will only serve to embolden a resurgent and aggressive China,
making the likelihood of a regional war in that
neglected theatre a real possibility. China
will certainly feel better having powerful like minded
partners in Russia
and Iran,
to counter U.S/NATO concerns and potential reprisals.

MOSCOW—Russia
said it signed a deal Tuesday (11/11/2014) to build
two new nuclear-reactor units in Iran,
possibly to be followed by six more.
The agreements were signed by
nuclear officials from both countries in Moscow,
Russian state nuclear giant Rosatom said in a statement.
Among them was a contract to build two more reactor
units at the Russian-built Bushehr plant in Iran.
Another deal signed Tuesday (11/11/2014)
envisions possibly building another two units at Bushehr
sometime in the future, as well as four more at another
location to be determined later, Rosatom said.
“This is a turning point in
relations between Russia
and Iran,”
the Tass news agency quoted Iranian nuclear chief Ali
Akbar Salehi as saying at the ceremony. Rosatom Chief
Executive Sergei Kiriyenko said, ”the building of eight
reactor blocks in Iran
is a big project expanding our cooperation for decades
to come."
No schedule was given for any of
the planned construction. Rosatom said that all the
plants would be operated as Bushehr currently is, under
safeguards mandated by the International Atomic Energy
Agency, with the nuclear fuel produced in Russia
and shipped back there for reprocessing after use. Moscow
and western capitals have insisted on such a structure
to eliminate suspicions any of the nuclear material
could be diverted for a weapons program.
Russia’s
construction of the first plant at Bushehr--Iran’s
only operating nuclear power reactor--stretched over
decades amid tensions over Iran’s
suspected weapons ambitions. When Moscow
completed construction in 2011, officials said talks
were underway with Tehran
to deliver more reactors, though details weren’t
announced. Rosatom formally turned over operational
control of the plant to Iran
in 2013.
In Oman,
where he is participating in the six-party talks on Iran’s
nuclear program, Russian deputy foreign minister Sergei
Ryabkov said the deals signed Tuesday are part of Russia’s
longer-term cooperation with Tehran.
“We are continuing the
cooperation with Iran
in the civilian nuclear sphere, in building new reactors
to generate electricity,” he said, noting that the fuel
would be produced in Russia
and reprocessed there over the entire life of the
plants.
On the six-party talks, he said,
“we have progress on all the questions that have been
discussed before,” but didn’t provide details.
According to
Americanthinker.com, if Russia does move into Iran’s
camp (as it is now doing) then Israel has the perfect
excuse to move ahead with a military strike on Iran’s
nuclear installations and will likely have the support
of the entire Western world (in addition to America’s
Mideast allies like Saudi Arabia). Israel
has already signaled its seriousness by setting aside US
$2.89 billion to finance the attack.
Such a development may very well
act as the trigger for Russia to lead an Israeli
invasion, under the pretext of defending its allies,
while actually targeting control of Israel’s enormous
gas (and possibly oil) reserves. This could be the “hook
in Russia’s
jaws” spoken of in Ezekiel 38.
A weakened US/NATO alliance may
not be able or willing to do much militarily, if the U.S
led response on Ukraine
is any indication. A weakened United
States enables the
perfect setting for the prophecies of Ezekiel 38, when
God will miraculously defeat Israel’s
enemies (Gog and her allies) and glorify His Name among

Turkey
has offered money to Hamas to re-build 19 mosques that
were used to store or launch missiles on Israel
before the IDF destroyed them in last summer’s
Operation Protective Edge, Reshet Bet (Voice of
Israel) radio reported Monday morning.
Mehmet Gormez, president of Turkey’s
Presidency of Religious Affairs, is visiting Gaza
for the first time in what may be a warm-up for a
long-promised visit by Turkish President Recep Erdoğan
Gormez said everything Hamas and
condemned Israel
for “violating human rights” in Gaza
by attacking missile-launching sites, many of which were
located in mosques, schools, cemeteries and
U.N.-financed buildings.
The religious affairs official
said:
Israel
used internationally banned weapons and violated
religious and human rights. Israel
must be prosecuted.
Gormez met with de facto Gaza
prime minister Ismail Haniyeh, who rules Gaza
despite a brilliant Orwellian-like maneuver last year
that delighted the Obama administration with a
“technocrat” government, supposedly without Hamas
representation. Haniyeh
poured praise on Turkey
for its “reliable and sacred” bond.
The promise of Turkish aid to
rebuild missile-launching sites, camouflaged as mosques,
follows Iran’s
resumption of aid to help Hamas re-build terror tunnels,
camouflaged as hide-and-seek playgrounds.

is now aligned 100% against Israel

Lord" is the Tribulation Period and the Rapture
precedes that. We
get a feeling that a war is needed prior to the peace
treaty.

Well, that's my revised
list of situations - - all of which could look toward this
year, 2016, for their completion. Each
one above is in the condition of "any day now". . . .
. We
look to September . . . . God may still choose to wait
some additional measured amount of time - - then
again, He may not.
One thing is sure - - He has known what day it
would be since before the foundations of the world.
So I am looking toward to the
Feast of Trumpets in mid - September of 2016. If
not 2016, then I will be looking toward mid-September of
2017. There are many issues with the Jewish Calendar,
errors, etc - - not to mention 24 time zones across the
world - - all of which is God's business and none of
which is mine!
