I read interestingly that there are no passages in scripture that show where the disciples of Jesus [celebrated] Passover feast as it was the tradition, according to Jewish tradition, after the Resurrection. Only the bread and wine, which Jesus said to do as often as ye will, in remembrance of him.
Celebrate Hanukkah?
I took liberty to add the definition of " at least, and celebrate" in the quote below.

The Lord never dwelt in The Temple which was built with hands.
The Lord never dwelt in the Tabernacle in the wilderness.
The Lord will not dwell in the tribulation Temple, they are made with hands.
Heaven is his throne and the earth is his foot stool. (where he will rest upon David's throne for the 7000th year)
The Ark of The Covenant sat within the Holy Place, and housed the Ten Commandments, and which was itself The Mercy Seat, which was HIDDEN behind The Vail.
Which Israel still has over their eyes.
The Vail was torn from top to bottom at our Lords death on that cross.
No More Vail.
The Temple is: A house of Prayer.
CELEBRATE: is mentioned 3/3 times in the Bible
Leviticus 23:32 Shall ye celebrate [your] Sabbath
Leviticus 24:41,42 Booths/ Tabernacles ye shall celebrate it in the seventh month throughout all your generations.
Isaiah 38:18 For the grave cannot praise thee, death cannot celebrate thee: They that go down into the PIT can not hope for thy truth. ( see also Luke 6:39)

As a New Creature in Christ, and knowing through scripture, that He, is the fulfillment of the Law and the Holy convocations ie;... Holy feasts, Devine appointments. I am baffled some what, by believers today who celebrate the feasts according to "Jewish tradition."
 
This, is something to celebrate.
 Jesus spoke these words BEFORE he left heaven to come to the earth, and are recorded for us in our Bible. Hebrews 10:5-7 KJV
Paul spake these to the Hebrews:
Wherefore when he cometh into the world, he saith,
Sacrifice and offering thou wouldest not, but A Body Hast Thou Prepared Me:
In burnt offerings and sacrifices for sin Thou Hast No Pleasure.
Then Said I' Lo, I Come (In The Volume Of The Book It Is Written Of Me,) To Do Thy Will, O God.
We were in the loins of Adam, and we are made of God, and therefore God dwells in US. His Temple, and His kingdom.

 Of the scriptures, I read:
 Speak unto the children of Israel, and say unto them, Concerning [the feasts of the Lord,] which ye shall [proclaim] to be holy convocations, EVEN THESE ARE [MY] FEASTS.
THESE ARE FEASTS OF THE LORD, EVEN HOLY CONVOCATIONS, WHICH YE SHALL [PROCLAIM] IN [THEIR] SEASONS.
IN THE FOURTEENTH DAY OF THE FIRST MONTH [AT EVEN] IS THE [LORDS] PASSOVER.  ( this is clearly not the Jews' feasts, convocations, or [their] Devine appointments, or Mine or Yours, but They belong to the Lord.) The Jews/ Israelites were to PROCLAIM them, not own them.
You and I are to proclaim the Gospel of Jesus Christ.
Proclaim:
1. To announce officially and publicly, declare
2. To state emphatically or authoritatively; affirm
3. To indicate conspicuously; make plain:
 IN THE FIRST DAY [YE SHALL HAVE] AN HOLY CONVOCATION: [YE] SHALL DO NO SERVILE WORK THEREIN.
( this belongs to the Israelites, a day of rest, the seventh day of the week) As our God and creator rested on the Sabbath, so also did God the creator tell the Israelites to rest on this day.
THIS day belonged to Israel, a REST.

What is the [purpose] of a believer in the finished work of our Lord, doing, in celebrating these feasts TODAY?
I am sure these have their reason.
Do these perhaps feel they are closer to God by celebrating them?
There is no commandment that teaches we who are [in Christ,] that we should keep them, nor to not keep them, the Lord has  fulfilled them. What is the purpose? I really would like to know.

Hanukkah : A Miracle, the oil being only enough for 24 hours, lasting 8 days.
Many preach that Jesus [celebrated] Hanukkah based on these passages.
John 10:22,23 And it was at Jerusalem the feast of the dedication, and it was winter. And Jesus [walked] in the temple in Solomon's porch.
Understanding the definition of the word celebrate, I strongly disagree that Jesus did this according these passages.
JESUS WAS THAT CANDLE [THAT LIGHT] SHINING IN THE DARKNESS, AND HE WAS STANDING BEFORE THEM, AND THEY KNEW HIM NOT.
Why 8 days? 8 being the 8th 1000 yrs. NO MORE SHALL ANY AT THIS TIME BE IN DARKNESS. There will be no more need for the sun,and there will be no night there, for the Lord giveth them light. Rev 22:5
JESUS, is and was then, THE NEW BEGINNING. That glorious light which came into the world, and shone into the darkness.
Jesus IS the Miracle. Celebrate him, not a tradition.

While the Lord was hanging on that cross fulfilling HIS appointed time, the Jews were in preparing to kill the Passover Lamb, while the LAMB himself was there before them being crucified.
Our Lord had already eaten the Passover meal the evening before he suffered.  Surely he knew the [correct] day of the Passover. For he said; With [desire] I have [desired] to eat THIS Passover with YOU before I suffer. Luke 22:15,16 For I' say [UNTO YOU,] I WILL [NOT] ANY MORE EAT THEREOF, UNTIL IT BE [FULFILLED] IN THE KINGDOM OF GOD.

Where is the Kingdom of God? When is the kingdom of God?
Luke 17:20,21
And when he was demanded of the Pharisees, when the kingdom of God should come, he (Jesus) answered them and said, The kingdom of God cometh not with [observation](:) Neither shall they say, Lo here! or, lo there! for, behold, the kingdom of God is [within you.]
Luke 17:25 But [first] must he(Jesus) suffer many things, and be REJECTED of this generation.
So He Was. ( Fulfilled)
When that LAST soul is purchased before his return for us at the catching away, THEN will it be fulfilled in the kingdom of God.

 Israel had not yet had their Passover meal. How do we know this?
John 19:42 There laid they Jesus therefore BECAUSE OF THE JEWS' PREPARATION DAY; for the sepulcher was nigh at hand.

The Jews' that wanted Jesus crucified, were preparing for the Passover [that] evening.
The Jews didn't want anything to do with him, because they would be unclean to take of the Passover meal.
When Jesus washed the disciples feet, He ask them; Know ye what I' have done to you? If I' wash thee not, thou hast no part with me.
Jesus now dead and being taken down from the cross.
The Lords burial/sepulcher was nigh at hand. He was laid in a barrowed grave.
Our Lord himself said to US the believer, to take of the bread and of the wine as often as we will, IN [REMEMBRANCE] of him. His body sacrificed for us, and his blood spilled for us.
Not to continue taking the Passover [lamb] MEAT, which is moot.

What are we as believers commanded to do according to our Lord Jesus Christ?
Keep the feast of the Lord? NO
Follow the Jews and their teachings? NO
Sit under Jewish Rabi's for our learning? NO
Learn the Jewish ways? NO
Go back to the Hebrew to understand better the Gospel of Jesus Christ? NO
Seek out Jewish Mystic religious teachings? NO

He said: What I tell you in darkness, that speak ye in light: and what ye hear in the ear, that preach ye UPON THE HOUSETOPS.
SECRET: The secret things belong to the Lord our God: but those things which are revealed belong unto us and to our children FOR EVER, that we may do all the words of this law. Deuteronomy 29:29
Hast thou heard the secret of God? and dost thou restrain wisdom to thyself? Job 15:8
The secret of the Lord is with them that fear him; and he will shew them his covenant.

 What did Jesus command us to do?
1. Mark 12:30 And thou shalt love the Lord thy God with all thy heart, and with all thy soul, and with all thy mind, and with all thy strength: THIS IS THE FIRST COMMANDMENT.
2. Mark 12:31  THE SECOND IS LIKE, NAMELY THIS, Thou shalt love THY NEIGHBOR as thyself. There is NONE OTHER COMMANDMENT GREATER THAN THESE.
3. This do as often as ye will, in remembrance of me.

Jesus said: In His doctrine, BEWARE of the SCRIBES, which love to go in long clothing, and love salutations in the marketplaces, And the chief seats in the synagogues, and the uppermost rooms at FEASTS: Which devour widows' houses, and for a pretence make long prayers: these shall receive GREATER DAMNATION.

Does Rabi Chan truly speak THE GOSPEL OF JESUS CHRIST? Or does he Scribe (write books) of speaches for the market place, and devour the widows' and ignorant people with itching ears? (ignorant meaning unknowing)
This also can apply to some Pastors who wish to exalt themselves and Scribe that they have some special message from God that you must have, and for X # of $'s donation, you can get this very special word from God.

Does this remind us of any particular passage in the scripture whereby we might recognize the spirit of the antichrist?
Thus shall HE do IN THE MOST STRONG HOLDS, with a STRANGE god, whom HE shall acknowledge  and INCREASE with glory: and HE shall CAUSE [THEM] to RULE over many, and shall Divide the land FOR GAIN. Dan 11:17

Our Lord told us; Money IS the root of ALL evil.
If these individuals sin through ignorance, then according to the Gospel of Jesus Christ, they should repent of their sin, and go and sin no more. As should all of us. But these men hold a much higher seat, because they profess to be our teachers, and pastors, speaking the word of the Lord.

Luke 12:48 But he that knew not, and did commit things worthy of stripes,  shall be beaten with few stripes. For unto whomsoever much is given, of him SHALL MUCH BE REQUIRED:
Knowing that Israel aka the Jews, are blind in PART, shall any of US be drawn into [their] blindness of the Gospel of Christ? God forbid!

Luke 6:39) And he spake a parable unto them, CAN THE BLIND LEAD THE BLIND? SHALL THEY NOT BOTH FALL INTO THE DITCH?
Here we see those who are being lead by the blind, FALLING into the ditch with the BLIND Israel.

Genesis 45:24 So he sent his brethren away, and they departed(:) and he said unto them, SEE THAT YE FALL [NOT] OUT OF THE WAY.
Psalms 141:10) Let THE WICKED FALL into THEIR own nets, whilst that I  withal ESCAPE.
There hath NO TEMPTATION taken you but such as IS COMMON to man: but God is faithful, WHO WILL NOT SUFFER YOU TO BE TEMPTED ABOVE  THAT YE ARE ABLE; BUT WITH [THE TEMPTATION] ALSO MAKE [A WAY TO ESCAPE] that ye may be able to bear it. 1 Corinthians 10:13
TODAY more than ever in these last days, TEMPTATIONS are before the righteous, in order to deceive us and draw us AWAY from the simplicity of THE GOSPEL of Jesus Christ.
Dear Lord; please give us the wisdom, and knowledge to recognize those who would rob us of our salvation, and thereby cause us to FALL into the ditch. Amen
We know.....There IS coming A GREAT FALLING AWAY.
Paul told us of THIS FALLING, and warned us; LET [NO MAN] deceive YOU by ANY MEANS: for THAT DAY ( our catching away) shall NOT COME, EXCEPT
there come [ A FALLING AWAY] FIRST. [AND] that man of sin be REVEALED, the son of perdition; 2 Thessalonians 2:3

What does it mean for a believer to FALL? and is it possible for one who truly is one of his sheep to FALL?
The answer to these two questions is in our Lords message of the parable of the sower and the seed.
The question we need ask ourselves is THIS.
Which category do we find ourselves?
Jesus said: I' am the good shepherd, and KNOW MY SHEEP, and AM KNOWN OF MINE.

Will following Jewish traditions lead you to Christ? NO; seeing that they are still blind in part, they can only lead you into the ditch.
Therefore IF any man be in Christ, he is a NEW CREATURE(:) OLD THINGS are passed away; behold, ALL THINGS are become NEW. 2 Corinthians 5:17

WHY then seek any of us to TURN back and follow the OLD THINGS?
Whereby we shall fall.

And all things are of God, WHO HATH RECONCILED [US] TO HIMSELF [BY JESUS CHRIST,] and hath given to us the MINISTRY OF RECONCILIATION;  To wit, that GOD WAS IN CHRIST, reconciling the WORLD unto himself, NOT IMPUTING THEIR TRESPASSES UNTO THEM; and hath committed  unto us  "the word" of reconciliation. NOW then WE are AMBASSADORS [FOR CHRIST,] 2 Corinthians 5:17-19
That we might be MADE the righteousness of GOD IN HIM.

NOT in Jewish traditions !

Therefore let US remain IN CHRIST and be ambassadors for Christ.
And HIM only shall we SERVE.
Jesus said when he gave up the ghost; IT.....IS......FINNISHED.

Why then open up the pages to THAT which WAS unfinished [before] HIS SUFFERING? Surely he is put to shame by re-enactments, AS DO the JEWS at this very moment.

Glory ye in His Holy Name(:) let the heart of them rejoice that SEEK THE LORD.
Who hath given wisdom in the INWARD parts?  or who hath given understanding to the heart?
Shall not God search this out? for he knoweth the secrets of the heart.
Hope deferred maketh the heart sick(:) but when the desire cometh IT, is A TREE of LIFE.
Counsel in the heart of a man is like deep water; but a man of understanding will draw it out.
If thou sayest, Behold, we know it not; doth not he that pondereth the heart consider it? and he that keepeth thy soul, doth not he know it? and shall not he render to every man according to HIS WORKS?

Be it known and understood, that we who STAND and speak and live IN CHRIST shall suffer persecution. 2 Timothy 3:12
But we are to CONTINUE in the things which we have learned and have been assured of, knowing OF WHOM WE HAVE LEARNED THEM; 2 Timothy 3:14
( we do not learn them from keeping Jewish traditions)

Knowing the holy scriptures, which are able to make us [wise] unto salvation THROUGH FAITH, and [that faith] is IN Christ Jesus. Not in the practice/celebration, or the keeping of Jewish traditions.

Wherefore come out from among [THEM,] and be ye [SEPARATE,] saith the LORD, and touch not the unclean thing; AND I WILL RECEIVE YOU, And will be a Father unto you, and ye shall be my sons and daughters, saith the Lord Almighty.
God will cleanse and atone Israel for her sins; BUT, it is not for her that he does this, but for HIS NAME SAKE, will he perform this.
Ezekiel 20:44

Behold, the days come, saith the Lord, that I will perform that good thing which I have promised unto the house of Israel and to the house of Judah. Jeremiah 33:14

When Christ comes to rule here upon the earth, what Law will he govern by?
His Law....

An ancient prophecy given by Jacob foretold "the coming Lawgiver."
Of the descendants of Judah, Jacob said:
The scepter shall not depart from Judah, nor a lawgiver from between his feet, UNTIL SHILOH come; and unto HIM shall the GATHERING OF THE PEOPLE BE. Gen 49:10 ( Shiloh; the peacemaker or " that which belongs to him)
This prophecy clearly refers to Christ as the coming King of Kings.
The basis of his rule will be God's Law.
What does the Bible say about God's Law?

GOD'S LAW
The Law of the Lord is Perfect, converting the soul: the Testimony of the Lord is sure, making wise the Simple. The statutes of the Lord are Right, rejoicing the heart: the Commandment of the Lord is Pure, enlightening the Eyes. The Fear of the Lord is Clean, enduring for ever: the Judgments of the Lord are True and Righteous altogether. More to be desired are They than gold, yea, than much fine gold: Sweeter also than the honeycomb. Moreover BY THEM is thy servant Warned: and in keeping of them there is great reward. Psalms 19:7-11
The works of his hands are varity and judgment; all his commandments are Sure. They STAND FAST for ever and ever, and are done in Truth and Uprightness.  Psalms 111:7-8
My Tongue shall speak of Thy Word: for ALL thy commandments are righteousness.  Psalms 119:172
Wherefore The Law is Holy, and the commandment holy, and just, and Good.  Romans 7:12
Think NOT that I' am come TO DESTROY THE LAW, OR THE PROPHETS: I' AM [NOT] COME TO DESTROY, BUT TO FULFIL. For verily I say unto you, TILL HEAVEN AND EARTH PASS, ONE JOT OR ONE TITTLE SHALL IN [NO WISE] PASS FROM THE LAW, TILL [ALL] BE FULFILLED. Matthew 5:17,18
BLESSED are they that DO his commandments, that they may have RIGHT to The Tree of Life, and may Enter IN THROUGH THE GATES [into the city.]
( which IS BUILT FOUR SQUARE, [not] a Pyramid. Neither is Christ the capstone, as newer translations render it.  Jesus is the CORNER STONE, A SURE FOUNDATION.) Isaiah 28:16 KJV
For without are dogs, and sorcerers, and whoremongers, and murderers, and idolaters, and whosoever loveth and maketh A LIE. Rev. 22:15

HERE IS WHAT THE [OLD TESTSMENT] STATES ABOUT GOD'S LAW DURING THE MILLENNIUM.
Isaiah 51:4
Hearken unto me, my people; and give ear unto me, O my nation: for a law shall proceed from me, and I' will make a judgment [to rest] for a light of the people.
Isaiah 2:3
And many people shall go and say, Come ye, and let us go up to the mountain of the Lord, to the house of the God of Jacob; and he will teach us of his ways, and we will walk in [his paths:] for out of Zion shall go forth the law, and the word of the Lord from Jerusalem.
Micah 4:2
And many nations shall come, and say, Come, and let us go up to the mountain of the Lord, and to the house of the God of Jacob; and he will teach us of [his ways,] and we will walk in [his paths:] for the law shall go forth of Zion, and the word of the Lord from Jerusalem.
Isaiah 59:19
So shall they fear the name of the Lord from the west, and his glory from the rising of the sun. When the enemy shall come in like a flood, the Spirit of the Lord shall lift up a standard against him.

Remember the kingdom of God is within you, and the house of God is you.

When Paul told the HEBREWS the Gospel preached in The Old Testament period [did not prophet them,] it was because "it was united faith." They failed to grasp the significance of "the many prophecies" that described the FIRST coming of Christ and His Sacrifice for the sins of the world.
When He came, They rejected Him. Their desire was to have "a physical king" to deliver them from Roman rule. None could understand what Jesus meant when He told Pilate........." My Kingdom is NOT of this world:" if my kingdom were of this world, THEN would my servants "fight," that I' should be [not] delivered to the JEWS: but NOW is my kingdom NOT FROM HENCE.  John 18:36
The Religious Leaders and people had No Realization that the many Old Testament Prophecies that spake of His Rule and Kingdom applied to His SECOND coming, that AFTER His Resurrection He would RETURN to heaven and await "THE TIME APPOINTED" by The Father. When they therefore were come together, They asked of Him saying, Lord wilt thou " AT THIS TIME" RESTORE [AGAIN] The Kingdom of Israel? And He said unto them, IT IS NOT FOR YOU TO KNOW THE "TIMES" or THE SEASONS, WHICH THE FATHER HATH PUT IN HIS OWN POWER.  Acts 1:6,7
Though The Prophets of the Old Testament [desired] to know " WHAT WE KNOW", it was not their "time" to be given [understanding.]
Of which, salvation, the prophets have enquired and searched diligently, who prophesied of the "Grace" that SHOULD come unto you:   1 Peter 1: 10-12

IF we do not appreciate the [understanding] we have been given, or take IT for granted, We cannot expect to receive the great Reward God has for those who [love and obey HIM.] But "as it is written," Eye hath not seen, nor Ear heard, neither have entered into the Heart of man, THE THINGS which God hath prepared for them that love Him.  1 Corinthians 2:9
IF ye love [ME] keep [MY] commandments.  John 14:15 Mark 12:30,31

There is an old saying; Don't take any wooden nickels.
Meaning that the wooden nickel has NO value.
Years past, a local business owner decided to take advantage of "the wooden nickel" and handed them out freely, at banks, grocery stores, and such. With a notice that if anyone brought the wooden nickel to his store, he would give them a nickel off any purchase made in his store.
I guess perhaps some may find personal value in [keeping] that, which only rewards themselves.

Paul said by the Holy Ghost;
One man esteemeth one day above another: another esteemeth every day alike. Let every man be fully persuaded "in his own mind."
Who art thou that judgest another man's servant? to [his master] he standeth or falleth. Yea, he shall be holden up: for God is able to make him stand.
