JESUS WARNED THE JEWS THEY WERE GOING TO SUFFER 'GREAT TRIBULATION' FOR CRUCIFING HIM
Jesus warned the Jews that they were going to SUFFER GREAT TRIBULATION for crucifying Him on the day He was crucified according to :
"Daughters of Jerusalem, .....weep for yourselves, and FOR YOU YOUR CHILDREN (descendants). for indeed THE DAYS ( of great tribulation) ARE COMING
in which they will say , Blessed are the barren, wombs that never bore,
and breasts which never nursed! Then they will begin to say to the
mountains, Fall on us ! and to the hills, Cover us ! For if they (the
Jews) do these things (crucify Me ) in the green wood (of the newly made
cross) what will be done (to them in the future) in the dry (when the
wood of the cross is long dry) ? "
"For THESE ARE THE DAYS ( spoken of in Luke 23:28-31 ) OF VENGEANCE
(of the Lord) that all things which are written may be FULFILLED. Woe
to those who are pregnant and to those who are nursing babies for there
will be GREAT DISTRESS (tribulation ) in the land (Israel) and wrath upon THIS PEOPLE ( the Jews)."
"IMMEDIATELY AFTER THE TRIBULATION OF
THOSE DAYS ( in Israel) ....He will send His angels with the great
sound of a trumpet, and they will gather together His elect..."
So you see, the GREAT TRIBULATION of God's wrath upon the people of Israel occurs BEFORE THE RAPTURE of the Church , AFTER which comes Satan's 42 month long "HOUR OF TEMPTATION", BEFORE the Second Coming of the Lord according to Rev 3:10 and Rev 13:5.
"Do not lead us into temptation (those 42 months) , but deliver (rapture) us from evil (Satan)."
