"re: Kat Kerr & unpacking your bags!"

I believe Kat Kerr is in with the Kingdom Dominion crowd. You know - the ones waiting for the "manifestation of the sons of God"? No critique intended, just stating facts.

She also said that a new golden age was going to begin in 2010 that would last about 30 years. She even said that it's possible the rapture is more than 100 years off!  I'm still looking for that "golden age". If it began more than 3 years ago, WHERE did it begin - where are the fruits? Maybe she's right and it just hasn't fully come in yet. Maybe she's right and God's generation is 80 years and not 70 (1948 + 80 = 2028), and we are not outta here until then.  However, if that IS the case, God seems to be bending over backwards to speed up all the signs that he said would converge like a woman about to give birth - just as He is about to return - and all those signs are doing exactly that. You tell me...???

Personally, I like Kat Kerr, as a fellow believer, and I don't believe she is making up visions of heaven!  But  I don't believe for one minute that the world is going to keep getting better & better so that God has a chance to "show off" to the world what the church is really capable of. He's had 2000+ years to do exactly that. What the Church has FAILED to do in the way of evangelization, the 144,000 flaming Jewish EVANGELISTS will accomplish during the Great Tribulation!  What I see happening all around the world is exactly what Jesus said would happen right BEFORE his return - evil waxing worse and worse and WORSE!!!  My bags have BEEN packed and no one is going to convince me to unpack them - not when the next to the LAST verse in the Bible says "He which testifieth these things saith, Surely I come quickly. Amen. Even so, come, Lord Jesus."   Remember when King Ahasuerus wanted to show off his beautiful Queen Vashti to the world (his drunken party-goers?) and she REFUSED to come when called? She was, of course, replaced by Esther. If for a moment Vashti is a type of the Church in that story (though we know for certain that ESTHER is a type of the Church) - it would be great if there were more Vashti's out there refusing to attend the drunken parties of this "world" and keeping their place at home where they belong....but that's another whole study entirely!

Anyway, with Ms. Kerr having so many face-to-face glorious encounters with Jesus (and I don't refute that) AND the Father and the Holy Spirit (and I don't refute any of that), why is she so excited about Jesus delaying his coming in order for the church to have a chance to "shine" in this world? I can't imagine SEEING Jesus face-to-face and the FATHER face-to-face MULTIPLE TIMES as she has --- and ever, ever, EVER wanting  to come back to this sin-cursed world (can YOU?)! I would be grieving every day that I had to be AWAY from them after having been where she says she's been! I would be kicking and screaming and protesting at the top of my lungs if I had that many trips to heaven and that many close-up hugs from the one who CREATED ME and was told that I had to keep LEAVING THEM!!!!

Have you ever read or heard the testimony of John Piper, who died in a head-on car collision and was immediately in heaven? He did NOT WANT to come back after what he saw. He wrote a book "90 Minutes in Heaven". He says he still has a hard time in this life down here struggling each day with the mundane when he KNOWS what a much better place he LEFT!!!

Paul was caught up to the third heavens and said that he saw unspeakable things. God did not allow him to speak of them, because He intended for JOHN to speak of them in Revelation. Can you just imagine what John's last days must have been like? I mean - to see all the glory of the grandeur of God's Throne Room, the angels, 4 beasts, worshipping sequence, secrets of the ages--- whole panorama of the future of the planet? Then having to return to earth and live a doldrum life banished on a rocky island--- compared to THAT until time for God to call him home? I just can't imagine! I heard one preacher refer to Paul (Saul of Tarsus) as a wanna-be suicide because Paul was constantly getting into ship wrecks, stonings, imprisonment,  floggings, beaten within an inch of his life (and surviving each time). This preacher said that after Paul saw what HE SAW when he was caught up, he was trying his hardest and bestest (old mountaineer English) to get BACK to that throne scene!!!!  After seeing THAT - he counted his life down here as NOTHING! No wonder he said, "to live is Christ, to die is gain".  Would that God gives all of us such a vision!  There would be mighty FEW worldly Christians out there, I guarantee! (And even FEWER if they ever see Bill Wiese's awesome testimony of his 23 minutes in hell! Just check U Tube!)
