"Rapture"
John and Doves-
I have been reading your website for a few years now but I haven't
posted. After reading Bob Ware's letter about Nisan 1, I had to write.
Over the years, I have wondered about the use of 360 day prophetic years
and how they relate to the timing of the rapture. I have been looking
for the rapture since the '80s. I thought that the year 2000 could have
been signifigant and was disapointed when it didn't happen. I got to
thinking about why when the dates were chosen to indicate that Christ
was among us, why was the year 1 AD chosen as the year one. So I did a
little calculating using the online date calculator. I started with
January 1, 2000. I went back 2000 prophetic years (720,000 days) and
ended up with Friday, September 17, 0028. I believe that this is the
date our Lord was baptised. If you go forward 40 days (the days that
Satan tempted the Lord) you get to Wednesday, October 27, 0028, this, I
believe, is the day Christ started His ministry. I believe this because
if you go ahead three and one half prophetic years (3 1/2 because I
believe He was cut off half way though His minstry) you arrive at
Wednesday, April 9, 0032. This, I believe is the true date of Christ's
crucifiction. This date is three days after the date calculated by Sir
Robert Anderson as the date of the fulfillment of Daniels prophecy.
Bringing this to today, if we start with Wednesday, January 1, 3000 and
go back 1000 prophetic years (360,000 days) we get to Saturday, May 10,
2014, possibly the day that the antichrist starts his false ministry. If
we go back forty days (as the ac tries to emulate Christ) we get to
Monday, March 31, 2014, the day before Nisan1. If nothing else it is
interesting.
Your brother in Christ,
Karl R
