Yes Jan, it is true the earth groans and it prays to the Lord that He will bathe it in the shekinah glory of God ( see Psalms) for this alone can restore earth to the health and beauty it was created to have. Oh who can watch His creation dying and not mourn with them? No one who has tasted of our Gods' loving kindness.  You are closer to Him than many, tender Jan. May He keep you so, always.
