I saw that recently the episodes of "Tribulation Now" radio were advertised here.
They can talk hours and hours about mostly
speculative things like Aliens, Reptile-Humans among us etc., but I
remember that the moderator said he can NOT take the 2 witnesses (which
he called the "2 long-bearded Jews") of Revelation literally, because -
as the moderator says - "it simply does not fit".
For me it is exactly the other way round:
I have no problem in a literal interpretation of the the 2 witnesses, but I am tired of the following:
-
the theory of "reptilians among us": In best case, the "reptilians
among us" are seen by ppl who take too much drugs. They possibly even
see spiritual things and not physical things, but this has nothing in
common with the "sons of god" taking the "daughters of men" from
Genesis.
- the idea of a black or second sun (or even solar system) crossing
our solar system. Ppl are often misled by their own photographs of the
sun because of an optical effect called "lens flare", very easily
reproducible in your own living room if you take a picture of a lamp
from the right angle (I tried it myself, it works great and can
perfectly be explained with simple physics). Yes I agree that the events
in Revelation can best be explained with some celestial body, but
that's still a big speculation.
- a soon alien invasion, mind control by aliens, HAARP etc. - All
this stuff is highly speculative and I think we have all reason to worry
more about saving the lost than debunking aliens among us. The only
thing we know is that the devil and his angels will be thrown down to
earth at some point (when we are hopefully gone). The Bible does not
tell us that they will be able to manifest themselves physically - this
is very speculative (because "as in the days of Noah" implies such
thoughts).
- guests at shows who predict specific things (e.g. comet
Ison will trigger this or that event), and when it does NOT happen as
they predicted, they never ever again loose a single word about it - as
minimum, some apology in a later show would help their credibility,
isn't it?
On the good side, the "Tribulation Now" show also has a clear call to repentance and preparation for the bride - Hallelu-YAH!
I recently started to listen at episodes from "Now The End Begins" radio (
http://www.blogtalkradio.com/nteb ). I love it and can truly recommend it to everybody who is interested in profound Bible studies!
At this point, I also want to apologize to all
doves for anything wrong or misleading I published in the past. I was
obviously wrong in my expectations.
However,
I still believe in a possibly very soon rapture and I truly hope to be
considered worthy and to stand before the son of man (Luke 21:36).
Watch & Pray!
