            I agree with you.

 

Ezekiel :17 Son of man, I have made thee a watchman unto the house of Israel: therefore hear the word at my mouth, and give them warning from me.

 18 When I say unto the wicked, Thou shalt surely die; and thou givest him not warning, nor speakest to warn the wicked from his wicked way, to save his life; the same wicked man shall die in his iniquity; but his blood will I require at thine hand.

 

In America, since the end of WWII, the church was compromised, the Christians slept, and the watchmen refused to warn.

The most grievous is what we didn’t do.

We knew better, had our eyes opened, and had the Holy Ghost given to us.

The lost did what the lost do.

We didn’t really wrestle with the principalities and powers,  we didn’t really warn people, and we ourselves had snuck into bed with the enemy.

I would imagine that the LORD is far more grieved with us.

 

Romans 1:32 Who knowing the judgment of God, that they which commit such things are worthy of death, not only do the same, but have pleasure in them that do them.

 

That’s us, watching TV shows & movies, where people are doing things worthy of death, and we watch it for entertainment, having pleasure in them.

Shame on us!

 

You mentioned the Germans.

When I was a boy, I used to wonder how they could let the Jews be taken, hurt, and killed right before their eyes.

I wondered why they didn’t fight, try to stop it, or at least die like a hero trying to stop it.

Well, how many babies have been slaughtered in the womb that I personally could have stopped?

Sure, I probably could have gotten hurt myself, or thrown in jail, but I could have saved a number of lives.

However, I didn’t do a thing.

I let them be cruelly murdered.

I could have done something.

Yes, the cost of me doing something would have been significant.

Yet, how can that compare to one life, let alone many?

The Germans allowed Jews to die, who most were old enough to have fought back for themselves.

However, all the babies that died, that I personally could have saved, couldn’t resist one iota.

 

What about the encroachment of sodomy?

Back when it was still repugnant to society & still against the law, what did I do when some began “coming out of the closet”?

Not a thing.

Sure I may have mumbled a few expressions of disdain.

Big deal! My mumbling did absolutely nothing!

Now if I would have been willing to stand up, to push back, to warn, to preach, and to keep doing whatever was necessary to stop the flow, what then?

Back then, that would have prevented things from happening where I went to school, where I lived, and where I eventually went to work.

But I did nothing but mumble.

What have I allowed by my indifference or cowardice?
