Why am I so far gone, on the other end of the spectrum?

 

John 14:15 ¶ If ye love me, keep my commandments.

 

Therefore when I do sin, I’m only proving that I really don’t love him after all, correct?

 

II Timothy 3:12 Yea, and all that will live godly in Christ Jesus shall suffer persecution.

 

Therefore, since I’m not really suffering persecution, clearly, I must not be living godly in Christ Jesus, correct?

I’m talking about real persecution, not a dirty look, or ostracized, but severe physical & emotional suffering.

I imagine, if I was holy, and I mean like the LORD expects me to be, I would probably stick out like a sore thumb.

If I really was holy, people would know right away.

It would probably begin to trouble those that are lost, and Christians, like me, who are not holy like the LORD desires.

So much so, that the persecution would start shortly thereafter.

Well, that’s not happening, because I’m not truly living godly in Christ Jesus.
