I laid down to rest wondering in mind if Israel was somehow repeating history in regards to conflicts they've faced in the past.

I've written a couple times about what transpired prior to their recapture of Jerusalem in June 1967, the six day war as it's known.

Yitzhak Rabin was Prime Minister, but God knew they needed to make a pre-emptive strike against the arabs, and Rabin was a traitor of Israel's sovereignty @ that time.

Rabin suffered a nervous breakdown on the 17th of Iyyar (May 25th 1967), and was hospitalized in a psychiatric ward in Israel, and was unable to prevent the pre-emptive strike that the jewish state so desperately needed to make in June.  Israeli media at the time, didn't inform the public about the severity of Rabin's condition.

I've suspected for  some time that it would be FM Avigdor Lieberman in charge in order to fulfill 'The burden of Damascus,' Isaiah 17.

February 2008-

Lieberman: We will destroy Damascus if Hezbollah attacks northern Israel

Avigdor Lieberman, a far-right Knesset member, threatened to destroy the Syrian capitol, Damascus, if Hezbollah attacks Israel in revenge for the assassination of its top military commander, Imad Mugniyah, on February 13th, 2008.

“We must negotiate with Syria only over security arrangements in Lebanon, not the Golan Heights,” Lieberman said while meeting with Russian Jewish immigrants in the American state of New Jersey.

“It should be made clear to [Syrian President Bashar] Assad that if Hezbollah targets the residents of northern Israel, all of Syria will pay, and Assad and his family will lose their rule of the Baath party and will all die. We will not leave a single stone untouched,” he added.

Lieberman said that a democratic state cannot face terrorist threats in the traditional way. “The US managed to destroy Saddam Hussein’s army in a short period of time, but it is now covered in Iraqi mud because it failed to use the same means that terrorist organizations are using, such as suicide bombings and using residents as human shields.”

“Instead of fighting terrorist organizations, we must fight the head. In the case of Hezbollah, Assad is the head, because the party cannot survive without Syrian support,” Lieberman told the crowd.

Fast forward,

Israel is the reason another Hezbollah member was taken-out early December 2013.

Back in August 2013 I wrote this-

This time sees an eerily reenactment of June 1967, with a little tweaking.

Isaiah 17 isn't Psalm 83, it only serves as a precursor to the arab uproar Al Jazeera helps broadcast against America.

The Tet Offensive the U.S. faces this time will be North Korea, as well as those lying arab nations.

Remember in 1967 PM Rabin was removed by way of a medical reason, now-

Netanyahu in Medical Test, Lieberman Filling in

Prime Minister is reportedly undergoing routine testing. He was briefly hospitalized Friday. 

Prime Minister Binyamin Netanyahu, 64, is undergoing medical testing Wednesday. Foreign Minister Avigdor Lieberman was appointed as his temporary replacement.
