"Living in the Messiah's absence"

Hello John and doves.  I’ve been an active reader for a few years and have never posted.  I was encouraged by this message brought to us last Sunday at our church.  I wanted to edify my “five doves’ body” as my first communication.
First....the scripture.
James 5:7-11
“Be patient, therefore, brothers, until the coming of the Lord.  See how the farmer waits for the precious fruit of the earth, being patient about it, until it receives the early and the late rains.  You also, be patient.  Establish your hearts, for the coming of the Lord is at hand.  Do not grumble against one another, brothers, so that you may not be judged; behold, the Judge is standing at the door.  As an example of suffering and patience, brothers, take the prophets who spoke in the name of the Lord.  Behold, we consider those blessed who remained steadfast.  You have heard of the steadfastness of Job, and you have seen the purpose of the Lord, how the Lord is compassionate and merciful.”

Notes I want to share further:
1.  Waiting is being dedicated to an end that you cannot control the outcome of......How does a farmer wait.  He does 1000 jobs that aren’t necessarily directly related to his crops during the “offseason”.  All those jobs are, nonetheless, vital.
2.  Strengthen your heart because it is tough work...it takes endurance.
3.  We suffer.  Jesus taught us the way “in” to suffering....Not the way out.  We are called to suffer in obedience to God; not to avoid it.  Let’s not suffer, though, by complaining or turning on each other.  James says “don’t”! lest you be condemned.
4.  We wait being Hopeful and Blessed (full and satisfied).  Endurance leads to Blessedness.  God intends something else than we see, than we experience here.  Soon we will be living what he intended for us.  HOLD ON.
Messiah IS coming back.  It is certain!  It will be what He intended for you..

Thank God, he has given us His Helper to help us wait.  Thank you so much Doves for helping me so much in the past few years.
