"Polar vortex drought nothing to see here"
The polar vortex is coming back. It's -1 here really. Drought and
extreme heat in Southern California really. Don't bathe in west
Virginia's water and lets not forget the goo that were starfish.
I saw a sad photo of four teenagers sitting on a swing set in a park ok
their smart phones. Children don't know how to socialize or play
anymore. That's ok it's practically the day after tommorow out there.
Distraction and entertainment worse then tv radio and then the video
games we knew. But really the point is if we were let alone to think and
ponder these things we might seek God. Then there are another dozen
distractions and corporate religion.
Past all that God may call us to His Son Jesus then we realize what an absolute mess we are.
Too much pondering so much easier to stare at the phone. Until the power
goes out or the battery dies then what. In a recent power failure
lasting just hours our friends and others freaked actuall said Thank God
when it came on.
Was not -1 thankfully like 50degrees. But in one day is went from -40
windchill to 50 degrees. That's normal. Do not worry I am not doing the
least bit of good making anyone notice that is not already by the
spirit.
Well the problem is not what I can do I cannot go out I cannot stand
doing nothing for God and Jesus so I feebly write these words.
The things I really like to do like walk I went to a place with rocks
and little caverns and instead of joy I realized God was saying this was
where people might hide but I looked at the thick rocks that would not
be comfortable in a rain storm and realized they were as playdough
nothing.
How do I even begin to convey the angst that it really is like Paul said
nothing is more important then knowing Christ and Him knowing you. In a
society where everything is distracting even those wishing to come to a
knowledge of the truth and those that do might as well be mimes to the
world.
What is that man doing pounding his wrists with his fist and his ankles
too and pointing up to the sky and at me and you oh well lets look away
so we can go back to texting each other three feet away.
