Dear Joe,
In your post on 5 Doves on January 23, 2014, you say that our current popes
middle name is not Peter and that we have to admit that St Malachy was
wrong. I beg to differ with you.
Our new pope took the name of "Francis" in honor or St Francis of
Assisi. The full name of St. Francis of Assisi was Giovanni di Pietro
Bernardone. Here is a quote from Wikipedia as reference and proof:
Pietro is Italian for Peter. The new pope is now, officially, Pope
Peter Francis - Peter The Roman.
Prophecy Fulfilled.

"Peter the Roman and Pope Jorge Mario
Bergoglio"
Traditionally, the Catholic Church has had a
habit of picking Roman Popes until recently. The last few popes have
been from outside Rome. So he's neither a "Peter" nor a Roman.
Perhaps we should simply consider the idea that Malachy was simply
wrong.
Shalom, Joe
