Carol, we've been praying for you & your family. We cannot imagine the great shock & loss you have experienced! It is beyond the threshold of our knowledge in knowing how to comfort you. BUT THE LORD KNOWS!!!! I am praying that, over time -- and certainly it will not come instantly or overnight or anything -- it may take a long, long time...... and the hurt and the memory will never go away, but in time I am hoping that the Lord can comfort, heal, and cover the pain that is in your hearts!! We are so, so, VERY SORRY for your loss!!Also it might be worth mentioning that stress/pain and hurt that cuts us to our very souls can also result in physical duress & trauma later. Worth noting looking into Vitamin B ~ the "stress vitamin". My doc told me that when we're under a lot of stress, the B goes right out of our systems & needs to be replenished. It's really worth getting the purest forms of supps available. Also I've read about collustrum helping in the stress department, too. One more, a totally natural calming supp is "Min Tran" by Standard Process (available at many naturalpath clinics & even online ~ like amazon)I realize that right now, while you're trying to just make your way through each day, that physical health may be the last thing on your mind. Just wanted to offer some good thoughts to try to help though. Maybe, not saying for sure, but maybe if you and your family can pamper yourselves physically and also take the right vitamins and supplements along with trying to eat right & sleep at nights, perhaps you'll feel better in the long run?I understand that tragic deaths such as this, can also create much havoc in the remaining family members' lives. There is no remedy there other than GOD'S PEACE!! ~ and we'll pray that you'll have that!!Romans 15:13 May God, the source of hope, fill you with all joy and peace by means of your faith in him, so that your hope will continue to grow by the power of the Holy Spirit.Isaiah 26:3 You will keep in perfect peace those whose minds are steadfast, because they trust in you.Do you know what Trust is, Carol??Trust is:T otallyR elyingU pon (our)S aviorT odayFrom Lamentations 3: ..... (did she just say "Lamentations" ~ that O.T. book with all the Mosaic laws in it? *wink* ~ YES!! We are taking in the WHOLE counsel of God here!!)21 Yet this I call to mind
and therefore I have hope:22 Because of the LORD’s great love we are not consumed,
for his compassions never fail.
23 They are new every morning;
great is your faithfulness.
24 I say to myself, “The LORD is my portion;
therefore I will wait for him.”25 The LORD is good to those whose hope is in him,
to the one who seeks him;
26 it is good to wait quietly
for the salvation of the LORD.I hope this has sparked that old hymn in you: "Great is Thy Faithfulness"!!
Till we hear THAT trumpet, will continually lift you to The Throne as the Holy Spirit brings you to mind, Carol!
A great big gentle & warm hug!!
