"Understanding The
Biblical Harvest"
Dear Friends in Christ,
Perhaps this information will help to shed
some light with regard to the timing of what we have called the
"Rapture".
There were different harvest seasons in
ancient Israel. Each of the crops were harvested, using
different methods, and gathered at different times of the year.
The "barley", a soft grain, was THE FIRST CROP TO RIPEN,
therefore, IT WAS GATHERED FIRST. The wheat and the grapes were
harvested at a later time.
Jesus tells us:
"...the harvest is the end of the world
(age)..."; Matthew 13:39. There are separate phases of the
harvest, each occurring in its own order; 1 Corinthians 15:23.
I have studied the Feasts of the Lord for
many years, and have consulted different websites trying to
acquire some understanding concerning the harvesting of
different crops in a prophetic context. The Lord is guiding me
in my understanding of these things, so I wanted to pass this
information on to you. One website which I recommend, clearly
explains the unique "barley firstfruits" group:
Home - The Loaf Of Barley Is The Bride Of
Christ (loafofbarley.com)
1. The Barley Harvest - the Bride;
overcomers, is associated with the Feast of Unleavened Bread
(pre-tribulation Rapture)
2. The Wheat Harvest - involves a "tribulum"
(tribulation) to harvest the grain
3. The Grape Harvest - the final harvest
(also olives and figs ripened about this time)
"Blessed and holy is he that hath part in the
FIRST resurrection..."; Revelation 20:6
Blessings to you as you pursue the LORD of
the harvest,
Terri Hill
