This post does not claim that any event will happen but will look at the idea of the movements of Time as related to the Markers God created.

Genesis

14 And God said, “Let there be lights in the expanse of the heavens to separate the day from the night. And let them be for signs and for seasons, and for days and years, 15 and let them be lights in the expanse of the heavens to give light upon the earth.” And it was so.

To understand the cycle of time we must think about the old and the new, death and rebirth.

What we have for signs, days, seasons, years are:

Moon
Sun
Stars

The moon has two “cycles,” its daily cycle in 24 hours that is Night vs Day and its monthly cycle from a new moon, to full, to new every 28-29 days.

The Sun has its own cycle too, it creates seasons and years, actually, the tilt of the earth makes the sun change position in the heavens, this changes the seasons, and we call a cycle through winter, spring, summer, and fall a year.

The Stars have their own “great year” and cycle also. This is what December 21st 2012 was all about!  The “sign” or celestial region of the sky the sun rises in on the winter solstice each year changes a little bit.  This is called the precession of the equinox and the changing of an “age” happens every few thousand years. The “great year” (26,000 Earth year precession of equinox) began on Dec 21st 2012 (or so the story goes).

So in regards to what is new, let’s look.

Sun-the new Sun began on December 21st 2012 when the days became longer.

Stars- New sign began when the age shifted Dec 21st from Pisces to Aquarius (as some believe) and the precession started over again for another 26,000 years.

Moon-even though we are in the new Gregorian year of 2013, we still have a 2012 moon! We have an old moon. This is even an old moon in regards to the new sun of Dec 21 2012!

God never said “let my birthday be celebrated 4 days after the winter solstice and let the new year begin 7 days after that!”

So my point is, of the celestial lights God gave us to mark time, all have reset, been born new again, except for the moon, that happens on January 11 (new moon, not visible).

January 11th is the great alignment in my opinion.  The Moon, Sun, Earth, and stars (signs) will all be in alignment, and then, when the first sliver of the moon is seen (Jan 12-13???) THAT will be the first moon of 2013 and will mark the new beginning of all of God’s time pieces (lights). IMHO
