(Duluth News Tribune) On a day when President Obama was preparing a slate of proposals to stem gun violence in America, Pine County Sheriff Robin Cole said he would consider any new federal regulation on guns to be illegal and would ³refuse to carry it out.²
³We will not enforce that,² Cole told the News Tribune of any potential federal regulation that could lead to confiscation of firearms.
A note:There's something to consider in all this gun control thing and that is, we Americans (for the most part) are descendents of those who fought in the Revolutionary and Civil Wars. While that wasn't yesterday, I heard of my very great grandfathers of those wars all my life. So it's in the spirit of their memory, of what they fought and died for, that Americans speak out!
