"Steven Braun - "way" is not "day""

Steven Braun - "way" is not "day"

 Acts 1:9-11
9 After He had said this, He was taken up as they were watching, and a cloud took Him out of their sight. 10 While He was going, they were gazing into heaven, and suddenly two men in white clothes stood by them. 11 They said, Men of Galilee, why do you stand looking up into heaven? This Jesus, who has been taken from you into heaven, will come in the same way that you have seen Him going into heaven.

Acts 1:9-11 describes the "way" Jesus ascended, " into a cloud" He will return the same "way", it's not referring to Him coming the same day.

Rev 1:7 Behold, he cometh with clouds; and every eye shall see him, and they also which pierced him: and all kindreds of the earth shall wail because of him. Even so, Amen.

Psa_104:3 Who layeth the beams of his chambers in the waters: who maketh the clouds his chariot: who walketh upon the wings of the wind:

1Th 4:17 Then we which are alive and remain shall be caught up together with them in the clouds, to meet the Lord in the air: and so shall we ever be with the Lord.

God Bless, John Too.

"Can we determine the timing of the second coming"

CAN WE DETERMINE THE

SECOND COMING OF JESUS (YAHSHUA)?

Dear saints,

I’ve chosen the topic due to a popular scripture that I’ve overlooked and only lately has the LORD (YHVH) laid it on my heart and I want to share the matter with you.

This is not about date setting and although there is a place for that which I believe strongly that YHVH has given us signs and Scripture to back it up.

(Matt 16:2-3)

Acts 1:9-12 states the following;

After He had said this, He was taken up as they were watching, and a cloud took Him out of their sight. 10 While He was going, they were gazing into heaven, and suddenly two men in white clothes stood by them. 11 They said, “Men of Galilee, why do you stand looking up into heaven? This Jesus, who has been taken from you into heaven, will come in the same way that you have seen Him going into heaven.”

My underlining is the key part of verse 11 and I want you to put your thinking caps on. Yahshua and his disciples were on the Mount of Olivet and He ascended to Heaven and there appear two men in white apparel.

They said that Yahshua will come in the same way that you have seen Him going. So what it tells me, is that He will come back on the same day in the future and put His feet on the Mount of Olivet as described in Zachariah 14:4?

So now is the question? When did He ascend?

Acts 1:3 states the following;

After He had suffered, He also presented Himself alive to them by many convincing proofs, appearing to them during 40 days and speaking about the kingdom of God.

Here it is mentioned that Yahshua has appeared too many for a period of 40 days before he ascended. Verse 4-8 links the 40 day period with the ascension, and therefore I’m confident that the 40 days are counted from the day of First Fruits, the day He arose from the grave.

It is common knowledge that the Feast of Pentecost (Shavuot) which means 50 and that means that one count from the Feast of First fruits on to 40 days and you will find the day that Yahshua has ascended. Also you can count backward from Shavuot 10 days and you will also find the 40th day of counting of the Omar.

From the Kaluach 3 calendar I’ve calculate the dates for 2013 and they are as follows;

Shavuot (50 days) falls on 15 May 2013

Subtract 40 days of counting of the Omar and you arrive on 5 May 2013 (Ascension Day)

First day of counting of the Omar is also the Feast of First Fruit which falls on the 27th of March 2013.

Now I’m not sure that the calendar is correct or that I’ve subtracted correctly and I ask for the men and woman with the mathematical abilities to assist.

Now we all know that the second coming falls on the 5th of May 2013 this year but we miss the Great Tribulation of 1260 days / 42 months and the Tribulation for the Jewish people and the Holy City (Jerusalem) (also called the Time of Jacobs trouble, notice not for the world).

The following dates I’ve calculated for Ascension Day in the future is 25 May 2014, 14 May 2015, and 2June2016.

Maybe the mathman and other watchers can help with the calculations and add comments whether this could be even possible to determine the return of our LORD and Saviour.

Much Grace

Steven Braun
