"Separation"

Separation

Jesus describes the time prior to His return as a birth.  Birth pains will start, then, escalate to a crescendo.  These pains are evident in all creation.  The earth groans.  The financial system teeters.  Nations steel their resolve in the face of increasing conflict.  Families see discord, mocking and intolerance toward faith in Jesus.  Relationships wither.  Our bodies fail and suffer in pain.  Personally, we confront the stark difference between the flesh’s self interest and our Holy Spirit leading.   This is as it should be, ordained by God as an instrument of division.

Praise God in all things!  For we know what we leave behind.  The condition of others becomes self evident.  The leading of the heart is foremost in the order.

The process of this division awakens others to the day at hand.  This is mercy; a drawing of the net to salvation in Christ and revealing the true condition of the world.  A progressively louder tone of alarm, “Come all who would.”

Before separation there must be division.  The pains are the evidence of division.  Jesus says He came to divide.  We see it everywhere.  Division comes before separation.  Separation becomes birth.  So take heart, because things are as they should be.  Love God.
