"RE: Dan Bruce: 01.21.13: FiveDoves: Extra 15 years"

Dan,

             Thank you for posting that information.

The wild thought to me was that Manasseh was born during those extra 15 years.

II Kings 21:11 Because Manasseh king of Judah hath done these abominations, and hath done wickedly above all that the Amorites did, which were before him, and hath made Judah also to sin with his idols:

12 Therefore thus saith the LORD God of Israel, Behold, I am bringing such evil upon Jerusalem and Judah, that whosoever heareth of it, both his ears shall tingle.

II Kings 24:3 Surely at the commandment of the LORD came this upon Judah, to remove them out of his sight, for the sins of Manasseh, according to all that he did;

Jeremiah 15:4 And I will cause them to be removed into all kingdoms of the earth, because of Manasseh the son of Hezekiah king of Judah, for that which he did in Jerusalem.

Although, had Hezekiah not lived those 15 years, that same Manasseh would never had been born:

II Kings 20:21 And Hezekiah slept with his fathers: and Manasseh his son reigned in his stead.

II Kings 21:1 Manasseh was twelve years old when he began to reign, and reigned fifty and five years in Jerusalem. And his mother's name was Hephzi-bah.

So how did the extra 15 years affect the entire nation?

                          Thank you,

                                       Gino
