The prophecy of the “2300 days” in Daniel, chapter 8, verses 13-14, which has been misinterpreted for centuries by well-meaning Christian expositors, was fulfilled by God working through the modern nation of Israel when, on June 7, 1967, Israeli paratroopers restored the Temple Mount in Jerusalem to Jewish sovereignty. That important end-time event signaled the unsealing of the prophecies in Daniel for this generation to understand, and notified all Bible believers that the time of the Messiah’s return is very near.
