I read the section of Romans again! Paul talks about a time he lived a complacent life not understanding the law. But when he did its implications slew Him! The fact is the law is good but our sin nature prevents us from totally fulfilling it. The understanding of the fact that we are born dead in our sins is what convicts us to seek repentance and the atonement found in Christ!

Hence the law as schoolmaster to lead to Christ! We upon receiving the conviction of repentance unto faith act by calling on The Lord! God calls He convicts, He justifies and sanctifies! Sanctified by walkI g no longer according to the flesh but by the Spirit we are to serve God in the newness of life not the letter!

Most people do not get anything is amiss they are like Paul before he understood what the law really meant and a lot of church going people who think that the meaning of grace is that they live according to this life but not understanding that grace is what enables us to die to this life and in doing do walk in spirit in communion with God in Jesus likeness more each day!

That's why they don't understand what time it is! They are walking according to the wisdom of the world quenching the spirit that convicts them to walk in a new life and they despise prophecy!

The bible calls this vanity futility that nothing is going to come of this decay that only what we sow spiritually profits! The Holy Spirit given upon the true convicted repentant conversion in a believer and a abiding faith is what leads to eternal life! A belief in the head without a rending of the heart and new birth in spirit does not! Those who hear Gods word and receive it show the spirit of truth and those who do not the error!
