Hi Everybody,

 

Just like everybody else,  I was disappointed when nothing happened in 2012.  Dang.  I was so sure 2012 would be the year of the rapture because of all of the signs that were pointing at it (and not just the Mayans).  Now I feel more and more discouraged, and my determination to never stop looking is fading.  I feel weary and want to sleep, just like the virgins in the parable who were waiting for the groom and fell asleep when the groom did not show up when they were expecting Him (Matthew 25).

 

OK.  So it wasn't 2012.  Lets take a look at what is going on in the world.  If last year's weather was wild, just look at what is happening at this very moment.  Australia is about to be overrun with wildfires with temperatures down under rising to over 129 degrees F,  while at the same time people are freezing to death in China and Europe.  Temperatures have dropped to a minus 50 degrees F in Eastern Russia, and South America is being hit by a devastating mega heat wave. 

 

And while all of this is going on, Israel is getting enough rain and snow to fill all of their reservoirs after several years of drought.  That's right.  It's snowing in Jerusalem.  It seems like God is preparing Israel for a long and dry period of tribulation that is just about to start.  This just can't be a coincidence.

 

The United Nations is supposed to speak for the world, right?  That is the whole idea behind it, isn't it?  One voice speaking for the entire world.  Well, the United Nations just formally recognized the group that calls themselves "Palestinians" as being the Palestinian State, along with an implicit recognition of the Palestinian State as being the rightful owners of a major chunk of the land God gave to Israel.  I don't think God is going to like this very much and He is not going to be very happy with the people of the world because of it.  I expect judgment against those who are responsible to come very soon, and I pray that I will not be part of the collateral damage when this judgment arrives. 

 

Can you believe the number of animals that have been dying all over the planet??  Can you comprehend the enormity of this death?  It's incredible.  Mass animal deaths have become so commonplace that they are not even being reported by the media any longer.  In 2012 there were 462 mass animal deaths in 67 countries that actually were reported.  It looks like that number will be even higher in 2013.  I am beginning to think that the Holy Spirit wasn't joking when He instructed the prophet Hosea on what to write down in his prophecies:

 

 Hosea 4:3 ...'Therefore shall the land mourn, and every one that dwelleth therein shall languish, with the beasts of the field, and with the fowls of heaven; yea, the fishes of the sea also shall be taken away

 

And while we are on the subject, just look at the incredible number of reports of strange sounds being heard all over the earth.  There is no explanation for them and no apparent source or direction from which they come.  I swear, it really looks to me like God is trying to give us a "heads-up" that something really big is going to happen, and that it is going to happen very soon.

 

I would point out that there has been a huge up-tick in UFO sightings, but that would make me sound like some kind of nut case.  The fact that these UFO's and their occupants act far more like demons than Klingons, Vulcans, or even Romulans is beside the point.  Therefore, I shall ignore the pink elephant sitting in the room (or should I say the pink elephant hovering in the skies?).  Nevertheless, the up-tick in these reports really makes me feel like something big is going to happen, and that it is going to happen very soon.

 

Homosexuality and immorality are spreading like a malevolent disease of biblical proportion.  Many of the things in this world that are evil are being called "good," while many of the good things in this world are being called "evil."  What's more, evil is growing more intense each day.  What happened??  Did somebody loosen one of the plugs of hell so that it can now ooze into this world??

 

Christianity is under attack like never before and is on the road to extinction in many Muslim countries.  There are a reported 70,000 people in prison in North Korea alone for the sole crime of believing in Jesus.  The same is true of many other countries.  Even in America, it is rapidly becoming a crime to be a Christian.  People are in jail at this very moment for holding a Bible study class in their home.  Just this morning I read of a teacher who was recently fired for giving a student a Bible when the student asked for one.  All traces of the God of Abraham, regardless of how insignificant, in connection with our government, regardless of how trivial it might be, are being sought out and eliminated.

 

Our schools were once a safe haven and were dedicated to the quest for knowledge and truth.  Now they have become nests of fear where bullies thrive and students often seek weapons, not to commit mass killings in order to gain attention, but instead for self protection.  When did all of this happen??  The change occurred shortly after all references to God were eliminated from our schools.  Our nation does not have the courage to admit that evil infested our schools when God was expelled, so we blame the guns our students use instead of addressing the true cause of the mass murders in our classrooms.

 

I do not subscribe to the idea of government conspiracies, primarily because I think the people in government are too stupid to pull something like that off.  They also have too big of mouths to keep it secret. However, the timing of the recent shootings are certainly a coincidence, if you believe in such things.  It gives the government a lot of ammunition (pardon the horribly bad pun) for grabbing guns prior to declaring martial law and doing all the things the conspiracy people claim will happen.  There are also a lot of links in the past shootings that are just too coincidental to be believed.

 

Just when I think the economy of the United States cannot get any worse without collapsing, it gets worse.  The same is true for the world economy.  This cannot be a coincidence.  Especially with the timing of everything else that is happening.

 

There sure are a lot of dormant volcanoes coming back to life lately.  Coincidence??  There are certainly a lot of earthquakes happening.  Coincidence again??  Lately I have been reading a lot of articles about strange things happening in the heavens.  A comet is coming that will be brighter than the moon?  The sun is having all kinds of fits?  We are in the middle of a bunch of alignments of the sun, moon, and stars that occur every 5,000 years (or so) and every 26,000 years.  If these are all coincidences I am investing my last dollar in lottery tickets.

 

It just goes on and on.  The entire world seems to be involved in conflict and yet there is no central leadership figure.  Its like mankind is begging for a leader.  Nature abhors a vacuum.  The welcome mat for the anti-Christ has been rolled out.

 

And speaking of the anti-Christ, when will he be revealed to the world?  Obama is being inaugurated on January 21st, which is the eleventh day of the eleventh month on the Hebrew calendar.  Maybe this is the 11-11 connection that so many are seeing.  Maybe not.

 

The Middle East situation is far, far beyond being "volatile."  Just one finger on one trigger could set the entire Middle East on fire, and with all of the millions of fingers on millions of triggers I cannot help but wonder how we were able to make it this far.

 

Jesus told us in His own words in Matthew 25 that many would fall asleep when the groom does not appear when expected.  Prophecy is being fulfilled precisely as written.  Now is not the time to falter.  Now, more than ever  we must remain awake and watchful.

 

It really is going to happen, and it is going to happen very soon.
