Yes, Dr Jeremiah did a teaching on Jonah this sunday so I wrote him:
Dear Dr Jeremiah;
   Sperm whales swallow giant squid for breakfast, > so a big one
had plenty of room for Jonah!!!  These big whales have been known to
swallow, then spit out  Nantucket Whalers who survived to old age!
   So yes, the story of Jonah has Jonah being swallowed and going to
hell, then being brought back from the dead.  He looks really well
bleached and is scary looking, so when he enters Nineveh, people are
weirded out and believe his preaching. It was all in God's plan!
