The 3 days of the Season of Purim highlight an unusual combination of fasting, drunkenness, and dissipation (carousing). What are the 3 days named? Day 1 is Ta-anit Esther, with a partial fast from sunrise to sunset. Day 2 is named Purim or Purim Lots. Day 3 is Shushan Purim Lots. Purim is not an Appointed Time; a Feast of Elohim commanded in the Torah. It is not listed in Leviticus 23. Rather, it is a tradition of men and one of "the feasts of the Jews", like Hanukkah. According to the Torah Calendar (Creation Calendar) these days will occur in the month of Adar, Month 12 on the Spiritual Year Calendar for Israel. The Rosh Chodesh of Adar just began the evening of 2-18-2026. The Season of Purim begins the evening of 3-2 through 3-5-2026. Why are there drunkenness and dissipation? A number of men in Rabbinical Judaism, like in Israel, drink alcoholic beverages to excess during celebrations of Purim. And some combine drunkenness with dissipation (carousing). This is alcohol fueled, alcohol enabled, sexual immorality. Examples are adultery, fornication, pornography, and/or pedophilia. Not marriage or family values such behaviors are causes for SHAME. SINS These behaviors are HIDDEN from their wives and children. Queen Esther's Hebrew name is Hadassah. This is derived from the Hebrew word hester which means HIDDENNESS! Queen Esther REVEALS HER TRUE SELF to her husband (the King of Persia), other Jews, and her country. The bravery and courage of Queen Esther are UNVEILED, NO LONGER HIDDEN. On the Day of The Blessed Hope, the Queen Bride of the Messiah of Israel is REVEALED! His family, body, bride is TRANSFORMED! REVEALED!

Guess what? These 3 things: fasting, drunkenness, and dissipation (carousing) were mentioned by the Messiah in the 3 Synoptic Gospels. The Messiah noted that when the groom is with you, you do not fast. When he is taken from you, then you will fast. However, when he returns, your joy will be full. And no one will be able to take it from you. The fast is over. According to the Ancient Galilean Wedding Model, the groom and bride go quickly to the wedding canopy (the chuppah) in joyous procession with family and friends to share their great day. The Celebration begins! Purim is a Season of joy and celebration. However, the Messiah gives Serious WARNINGS about drunkenness and dissipation ON THE DAY HE RETURNS! "But watch yourselves lest your hearts be weighed down with drunkenness and dissipation and the cares of this life, and that day come upon you suddenly like a trap. For it will come upon all who dwell on the face of the whole earth. But stay awake at all times, proving that you may be in position to escape all these things that are going to take place, and stand before the Son of Man." Luke 21: 34-36. One is to be like the wise and faithful steward ready at all times and escape the day of judgment. See Luke 12: 39-44. One is to be SOBER and WATCHING for the Master, the Beloved Messiah Groom! The 3 things are not repeated on any Feast of Elohim or another 2–3-day period of the year for the 12 Tribes People, the House of Israel. THIS DISTINCTION IS SIGNIFICANT.  Purim Day 1, Ta-anit Esther, will have a noteworthy total Lunar Eclipse, a BLOOD RED MOON on 3-3-2026. Such a Sign in the Sun, the Moon, and the Stars is traditionally considered a bad omen for Israel. It will be the FINAL LUNAR ECLISE at Purim in 2024, 2025, and 2026. Cycle Complete.

Paul noted that some will discern, will intuit, the Season of the Blessed Hope drawing close. Purim is not one day; it is a Season. The Messiah, the Groom of grooms, promises to come at a time, an hour, when many will be clueless and totally unprepared. "Therefore, you must also be ready, for the Son of Man is coming at an hour you do not expect." Matthew 24: 24-44. Purim is important. Why? Because the Book of Esther is one of the 66 Books in The Scriptures. For Jews and Gentiles alike, the Book of Esther teaches us lessons. For long ago and for now. Perhaps the Messiah's Bride of the Ages, the Queen of queens, will no longer be HIDDEN, but beautifully and completely REVEALED! Perhaps a day during Purim 2026? We shall see...
