Here is a 'collection' of news bits coming out of the Middle East that I am seeing today, February 6, 2026:

 

"The negotiations, while praised by Iran and Oman, appeared to be a return to the starting point on how to approach discussions over Tehran's nuclear program after multiple rounds were held last year before Israel launched a 12-day war on Iran."

The meeting between the US and Iran in Oman has ended.  Both sides standing firm.

 

As talks were going on, the US again told its citizens to leave Iran immediately.

 

Tehran rejected any negotiations on their missile program.  They want all sanctions fully lifted.  They said they are 'flexible' with uranium enrichment. 

 

At the talks, Iran demanded that the economic and financial sanctions be fully lifted.

 

Following the 'failed' talks:

 

The US placed new sanctions on the movement of Iranian oil -  placing sanctions on 15 entities, 14 vessels and 2 individuals; the US is targeting Tehran's "shadow fleet" - this is a shipping network that helps Iran evade sanctions.

Iran has placed its navy on maximum alert.

 

China has called on its citizens to leave Iran immediately.

 

Pakistan has called on its citizens to leave Iran immediately.

 

There was a second round scheduled for February 20, but that has been cancelled.

 

Conclusion:

 

Iran believes these talks were 'off to a good start'. Ha!  It looks like this 'meeting' was just a formality for the US to move forward with military operations against Iran.  Or Israel!  Hearing that senior military officials in the IDF had an emergency meeting and have approved an operation against Iran.

 

Also, US special envoy Witkoff and Jared Kushner were at the 'meeting'...do they even know what a Twelver is??  Do they know who they are dealing with??

 

I am of the belief that Iran already has nuclear weapons.  They have been enriching uranium and hiding their progress and stores of enriched uranium for decades. Their ballistic missiles can make intercontinental flights - these were tested several years ago. All they need is the payload.  And they've had help from Pakistan and North Korea.  They do not need to 'reinvent the wheel'.

 

Things will happen on God's timeline.  Nothing will happen outside of His will.

 

Some believe a US strike on Iran is now imminent.
