Hello John and Doves,
Pastor Jack Hibbs put out
this update on Iran and reminded us that Persia is in Bible
prophecy and must be around for the Gog and Magog
battle. America is not in Bible prophecy. Very
sobering thought.
His short video is linked
below, with my notes:
Pastor Hibbs said it's not
very clear in Bible prophecy what is going on right now with
Iran and U.S. and the Middle East.
Because Iran is in the
situation that it either backs down and agrees with the
world to surrender it's nuclear ambitions to destroy Israel
or they attack U.S. forces that are there in the Middle
East.
History tells us that the
first big attack by Iran will not be against the US but it
will be against Israel.
He believes that the mindset
of Iran is: if the U.S. is going to destroy us because
of our nuclear ambitions that we are not going to surrender,
then we are not going to shoot against the US first, we are
going to make our first shot count, that is we are
just going to nuke Israel. That's what they
are thinking. That's Islamic doctrine and
policy.
How is this going to play
out? We can't put our finger down on Jeremiah or
Ezekiel 38 on this one. This is different. Could this
be something that we didn't see coming?
What if the U.S. is greatly
humbled? What if somehow with this incredible material
that we have in the region, what if it doesn't go well?
But we know something - Persia
must exist long enough to fulfill the Ezekiel 38
battle. Persia is not going to go
anywhere. Maybe a change of regime. And the U.S.
might be victorious. But we know this: There is
no mention of America in Bible prophecy. But there is
the mention of Persia in Bible prophecy. That's in
Ezekiel 38.
Look at the news through a
biblical world lens.
