Pastor Hibbs, like the
rest of us, doesn't know if Iran will send over a tactical
nuke into Israel or not. As he said, that's Iran's
'doctrine and policy.'..Iran wants to annihilate
Israel. They want every Jew in the world gone.
Will they try to do this? For their Mahdi to come back
for their world caliphate, Israel must be gone.
A tactical nuke can
damage or annihilate a city depending on the size of the
warhead and the size of the city.
IF Iran sent a tactical
nuke over to Tel Aviv - it could badly damage the city but
not destroy the entire country of Israel. So Iran
could send a nuke to Israel without destroying the
country.
This reminded me of the
prophet Zechariah who foretold of a 'flying scroll' - it is
uncannily descriptive of an ICBM (I've written a couple of
Doves letters about this already). "This is the curse
that goeth forth over the face of the whole earth..."
Zech 5:3 It appears that an ICBM will be 'housed' in
the land of Shinar - Babylonia. The angel said this
"curse goeth forth over the face of the whole earth."
The Lord says He sends these out "to the house that sweareth
falsely by My name". So, if this flying scroll is an
ICBM there will be some launched at some point. Maybe
this takes places during the Tribulation period.
God splits Jerusalem
into thirds with a great earthquake - not a tactical
nuke. But we don't know about the other cities in
Israel.
As you noted, God has
prophetic plans for His Israel.

comment, Donna. I hope people didn't think Pastor
Hibbs was saying Iran was going to destroy Israel with nukes
- that is not at all what he said. 'That is what
the Twelvers are thinking and wanting to do.' That is
not in God's plans.
