"Herran N:  "Study on Jacob's Trouble" Letters"

Hello Herran N, John and Doves,

Back on 22 Jan 2026, Herran N sent in two letters to Doves.

In these letters is a short timeline that starts with the "Abomination of Desolation" followed by 3.5 years of Jacob's Troubles, and ending with "The Second Coming of Jesus Christ".

Study on Jacob's Trouble

Study on Jacob's Trouble

Herran N - I note that your timeline does not have a 3.5 year section previous to the 'abomination' point....this could mean you see the Tribulation/Jacob's Trouble as 3.5 years long...or you are only doing a timeline of the last 3.5 years of the 7 years.  ??  I noted this because some on Doves believe the Tribulation is 3.5 years long.  There is no pre-Tribulation or divided Great Tribulation period - it's all one time period of 42 months.  (see explanation below.  Thanks.)

Here is a suggestion for your timeline:

Luke 21:20 is the parallel verse of Matthew 24:15.  And Luke tells us exactly what this 'abomination of desolation' is.

"And when you see Jerusalem surrounded by armies, you will know that her desolation is near."  Jerusalem is God's chosen city - He wrote His name there.  These armies of the Antichrist will take control of Jerusalem and eventually she will be in ruins.

So...looking at your timeline - one could start it with Luke 21 with the surrounding of Jerusalem by armies which belong to the AC, they take the city and he rules from there (the Jews were told to flee when they saw Jerusalem surrounded by armies).

The AC is given 42 months to wield his power and do his evil.  Jerusalem is controlled by the Gentiles for 42 months.  The two witnesses are given 42 months.  The Jews flee to the wilderness for the 42 months.

This 42 months is all the same time period (1260 days and time, times and half a time).  So the Tribulation period/Jacob's Trouble is 42 months long. Like you have shown in your timeline.

So your timeline #1 looks good to me.  For timeline #2, the darkening of the sun and the moon comes right near the end of Jacob's Trouble (during the 42 months), followed by the Second Coming.  So you could just remove the ? mark before the Second Coming and shorten that line to the Second Coming because we don't know the time lapse from darkening the sun/moon to Jesus' return.  But we know it's near to the very end.  And it's included in that 42 months.  You could put all of the horrors and tribulations of The Revelation on that 42 month timeline.  A lot of those things could happen together or simultaneously in quick succession.

There are some here on Doves, like myself, who believe that Jesus fulfilled exactly the first 3.5 years of Daniel's 70th week with His ministry.  The last exact 3.5 years would have been fulfilled if He wasn't 'cut off'/crucified.  He told the people because they didn't recognize their visitation from God, that everything changes now.  Jesus wept over this.   Resulting in a huge mid-week break in the Daniel's 70 Week timeline.  Leaving 3.5 years left to be fulfilled sometime in the future - thus the 42 months of The Revelation.  (This, of course, is not mainline eschatology.)

I see this followed by the times of the Gentiles ..then at some point those last 3.5 years will be completed.  Maybe this timeline will start where it ended...when Jesus rode the donkey into Jerusalem.....??

Thank you for sharing your timeline!

Maranatha!
