"Drone Mystery Deepens  Part 3  And Ohio/Indiana - Drones Are Back And Are Flying Around Avian Flu Hotspots!"

Hello John and Doves,

The mystery drones in the northeast of the country are now being referred to as "dronegate".  Very fitting.

President Trump's new White House Press Secretary Karoline Leavitt passed on information on the mystery drones - 'they were FAA authorized' for 'research and other reasons'.

The public isn't buying this.

Add this to what's going on in Ohio/Indiana now!

And Ohio and Indiana are seeing a new spat of drones and the Sheriff's Office is working with FAA and the FBI - so far, the FAA isn't claiming these are "FAA authorized to do research in Ohio and Indiana".  But we'll see.

And these drones are being seen near 'avian flu hotspots' and the people and Sheriff want to know why.  It's illegal to enter an avian flu site with drone or by person according to the DHS.  And it's illegal to shoot a drone down.  People are being asked to send in videos, pictures, etc to the Sheriff's office and Emergency Management Agency.  Sheriffs want to know why are these drones flying around turkey farms, chicken farms?  And why are they flying around avian flu hotspots - farms where H5N1 has been identified/quarantined?  Georgia noted significant drone activity last December...now that state is getting it with bird flu.  hmmmm

Also, in this letter I wrote about the Indian military's problem with their military drones and Chinese components.  The Chinese have the most advanced drone technology of any country.

And then I asked 'if the Chinese can remotely take control of a drone, can they remotely take control of a Black Hawk helicopter'?  Too many crazy things about that helicopter - it's odd path - it appears to be 1/2 mile off it's approved course - it was flying too high (suppose to be at 200 feet).  Was something going on with this helicopter before the collision?  Maybe the black box will tell the story.  Then again, if it was being remotely controlled, will THEY want that to come out?  Especially with people not believing the FAA story about the mystery drones.  And the drones might be Chinese with possible payloads.  What could stop them??

The Official Mystery Drone Response:

"People are less than pleased" with the response from the president.  Lots of resources were spent on 'FAA approved' drones.  This reason now by the FAA shows " a complete disregard for the trust and safety of our communities."

Ohio and Indiana's Mystery Drones Are Back:

Ohio and Indiana are noting a significant number of drone sightings...again.  The Sheriff's Office, FBI, DHS, and FAA are involved.

This article dated January 31, 2025:

"Local agencies have announced an increase in drone sighting reports for northeast Indiana and northwest Ohio....It started this past Friday - about six days ago - we had a few of them, about three or four.  Upwards of 10 on Saturday, 20 or so on Sunday and then anywhere from 30 to 50 Monday night to Tuesday night, "Mercer County Sheriff Doug Timmerman said."

"The Indiana Department of Homeland Security has announced an influx in drone activity near avian flu hotspots....While local agencies have yet to confirm a full connection between avian flu sites and drone sightings, officials say they are still looking for answers.  We have no known origin or reason why they may be flying over here...if there is research being done we'd like to know that our citizens are safe and let's be transparent with each other and tell us what the research is about."  Tinnerman said."

"It's making people very uneasy...when they're spotted at poultry farms and chicken farms...

"People who live in Mercer County have been left puzzled following a series of mysterious drone sightings over the past few nights.  Sheriff Doug Timmerman confirmed that his office is actively investigating the incidents and working closely with federal and local law enforcement to identify the origin and operators of the drones."  The Sheriff's Office is "collaborating with the Federal Aviation Administration, the FBI and local law enforcement in nearby counties, including those across the Indiana border.  Despite these efforts, the purpose of the drones and their operators remains unknown."

The Sheriff's Office is calling on residents of Mercer County to submit any information and video they have on the drones.  And 'for safety reasons, they are telling the people not to confront or follow these drones."

Two reports of drone sightings came into the Sheriff's Office in Darke County, Ohio.  Then another report of 14 drones.  Darke County and Mercer County are working together on these sightings.  And Jay County is reporting drones. - FBI, Indiana DHS, FAA and the military are involved.  "Jay County Sheriff Ray Newton said they are flying around the turkey farms and the chicken farms."

Obviously our advanced drone detection systems and anti-drone systems do not work against these drones.  Nobody has been able to identify them or find their origin.  Which they should have been able to do via Remote ID.  Thus the warning not to follow or confront the drones.

Indian Military Drones and Chinese Components:

And then this news came out of India, Jan 31, 2025:  "The use of Chinese-made components in Indian drones being supplied to the army runs the risk of compromising national security through the hacking of data.  A concerned military is now tightening regulations."

A tactical drone "used for covert intelligence, surveillance and reconnaissance (ISR) activities - along the LIne of Control in Jammu and Kashmir - veered off course, crossing into Pakistani territory.  According to army sources, what initially seemed like a technical glitch turned into a chilling revelation:  the "Made in India" drone had actually been hacked, its Chinese components exploited to wrest control from Indian operators."

"This wasn't just a technical failure, it was a breach of national security.  These revelations sent shock waves through India's military establishment, which is scaling up drone usage for critical ISR missions as well as preparing an armed fleet of Unmanned Combat Aerial Vehicles (UCAVs) and, following government policy, mostly procuring them from Indian manufacturers."

This "raises questions not only about cybersecurity but also supply chain issues in case of wartime," says a defence official."  India's army suspended multiple orders - and found out that "several Indian drone-makers were found to rely heavily on Chinese parts."

"Experts have long warned about cybersecurity vulnerabilities that Chinese components in Indian drones pose.  The greatest danger lies in data leaks and unauthorized access to sensitive military operations.  Backdoor-mechanisms that bypass security features - embedded in Chinese electronics, particularly within communication modules, cameras and control systems, could be exploited to extract intelligence and sensitive military information, disrupt military operations, hinder operational readiness or even seize control of drones mid-operations."

Military Intelligence has repeatedly barred the use of Chinese-origin components in sensitive security equipment.  "The directives mandated that hardware and software in such systems must not come from China.  Manufacturers were also instructed to ensure rigorous testing to eliminate potential malware threats.  This was hardly surprising, given that a law passed in Beijing 2017 mandated that all Chinese tech firms share data with government agencies."   Unfortunately, domestic manufacturers and lack of compliance has allowed Indian drones to become infected with Chinese 'parts'.

"In 2019, a cautious US banned the usage of drones and their components made in China."

Recognizing this threat, the Ministry of Electronics and Information Technology has now expanded it cybersecurity initiatives to include civilian drones."

Supply Chain Issues Are The Problem:

Chinese components in drones are of two types:

Active components are processors, communication modules, sensors, flight control units and memory storage devices - these are critical to drone operations and highly vulnerable to cyber threats.  Processors with malicious firmware can help adversaries intercept surveillance data or manipulate drone functions; communication modules and sensors can transmit sensitive reconnaissance date to foreign servers.

Passive components are printed circuit boards, motors and power systems, resistors and capacitors - these can carry risks.  Circuit boards can conceal spyware or sabotage mechanisms, compromised motors and power systems can lead to premature failures and substandard resistors or capacitors increase system failure risks during missions.

"We have been moving too quickly on drone adoption, both military and civilian, without adequately addressing their vulnerabilities, admits a senior defence official.  He reveals that there is still no mechanism in place to verify the origin of components in 'Made in India' drones.'

"Components like cameras, LiDAR (Light Detection and Ranging) sensors and communication modules can also be rigged with malware to transmit information to adversaries."

"Given its domination in drone components, Beijing can manipulate their supply chain to disrupt Indian drone production and operational readiness."

The rise of drone swarms, loitering munitons (armed drones that 'loiter' in the sky before locating the target) and autonomous UCAVs (unmanned combat aerial vehicles or combat drones) means that defence forces must adapt to the growing cyber threats that accompany these technologies."

Bet the U.S. has the same problem as India - "no mechanism in place to verify the origin of components."

A 100% made in the U.S. (or India) is the only way to know there is no Chinese component in a drone.

We certainly have seen a lot of 'drone swarms' and 'loitering' and we were warned about Chinese autonoumous drones that can carry payloads...this would explain why no one can identify these drones - either in the U.S. or the U.K.  Our advanced anti-drone systems can not ID nor track these drones.

Autonomous drones "are unmanned aerial electronic machines that utilize artifical intelligence and computer vision for self-flying and aerial actions through integrated circuitry and programming."  The roles of autonomous drones in the military are "  reconnaissance, payload carriage, security surveillance.

Drone or Black Hawk Helicopter?:

If someone can seize a drone, can someone seize a Black Hawk helicopter?  It can be done - per testing done October 2024 by Lockheed Martin and DARPA (yikes! Think Moderna "vaccine"!)

"a ground crew hooked up a sling load to the (Black Hawk) helicopter remotely controlled through the MATRIX system."

"Using a tablet connected via a data link to the helicopter 300 miles away ...the helicopter autonomously performed take off and hover, before flying a circuit and landing again without pilot input."

"The system can receive remote mission commands in real-time without the need of assistance from a flight crew."

The Chinese can take over drones...can they take over a Black Hawk helicopter?

It just seems odd that so many people have noted, even President Trump, that the Black Hawk helicopter seemed to run right into the passenger plane - "the helicopter was going straight at the airplane for an extended period time."

But, with all the Chinese hacking that's going on in the country - including the DoD - it's a possibility.  And then there is the question as to why the helicopter was flying above 300 feet instead the required 200 feet and why was it a half mile off it's 'approved path'?  Why did the airliner's automatic system not warn the pilot of another aircraft (the helicopter) was close by?  Some say it was the night vision goggles prevented the helicopter pilot from seeing the plane - but that doesn't explain the altitude or path differences.  But it's not known if the goggles were being used.  The black boxes have been recovered from the two aircraft.  "The black box from the helicopter will give them a sense of internal communications leading up to the collision."  The airliner had two black boxes - one was the cockpit voice recorder.

Looks like I'm not the only one thinking about the possibility of remote control of the Black Hawk:

" A new technology for autonomously operating aircraft dubbed "MATRIX" is drawing scrutiny across social media after a commercial airliner collided with a military helicopter in Washington, D.C. on Wednesday."

"MATRIX is a technology jointly produced by defense contractor Lockheed Martin and the government's Defense Advanced Research Projects Agency (DARPA)"

"While there is no evidence that the crash on Wednesday involved MATRIX, the project continues to garner attention as investigators look into the deadly mishap."

Awaiting the information from the black boxes.

As for the Ohio/Indiana drones flying around avian flu hotspots - reported by the Indiana Department of Homeland Security.... I remember being warned by the Russian General Kirillov - our own government was going to attack the U.S. with bioweapons - he specifically mentioned bird flu (spread by migratory birds - or, how about, drones!) and mpox. The Sheriffs of Mercer County and Jay County said the drones are flying around the turkey, chicken farms and where the avian flu hotspots are.

These drones were also sighted in Georgia - last December.  These drones are as large as cars...why so big?  What's their payload?
