Read out of context, this passage may appear to support the idea that the Church is the bride of Christ. But the verses that follow correct such wandering. Paul continued.......

You brought up some very good points which caused me to do even deeper research into Mid Acts Dispensationalism, especially on the Bride of Christ vis-a-vis the Body of Christ.
As it turns out it is not just Justin Johnson who sees only Israel as the Bride, although divorced in the present moment. It appears that that opinion is held by many across the Mid Acts community. Perhaps this issue is better articulated by:
