I had previously written to Chance:

However, the book of Nahum doesn't mention that he went to Nineveh, to preach to it, like Jonah did.

The book, which referred to itself as the vision of Nahum the Elkoshite, starts out mentioning the burden of Nineveh.

So, why did he not preach that in Nineveh, itself?

Is it possible that they were too far gone to even listen to him?
