You had written about Michael:

Daniel 10:13 But the prince of the kingdom of Persia withstood me one and twenty days: but, lo, Michael, one of the chief princes, came to help me; and I remained there with the kings of Persia.

That is a good point, considering that Gog is another one of those chief princes:

Ezekiel 38:2 Son of man, set thy face against Gog, the land of Magog, the chief prince of Meshech and Tubal, and prophesy against him,

Apparently, Gog was around when Ezekiel prophesied against him:

Ezekiel 38:3 And say, Thus saith the Lord GOD; Behold, I am against thee, O Gog, the chief prince of Meshech and Tubal:

  14 Therefore, son of man, prophesy and say unto Gog, Thus saith the Lord GOD; In that day when my people of Israel dwelleth safely, shalt thou not know it?

Was he also around when others prophesied against him, long before that?

Ezekiel 38:17 Thus saith the Lord GOD; Art thou he of whom I have spoken in old time by my servants the prophets of Israel, which prophesied in those days many years that I would bring thee against them?

He'll clearly be around prior to the second advent, for things that Ezekiel was told about:

Ezekiel 38:18 And it shall come to pass at the same time when Gog shall come against the land of Israel, saith the Lord GOD, that my fury shall come up in my face.

And, he may also be around to assist in the final assault that the devil will be behind, after the thousand year kingdom:

Revelation 20:7 And when the thousand years are expired, Satan shall be loosed out of his prison,

  8 And shall go out to deceive the nations which are in the four quarters of the earth, Gog and Magog, to gather them together to battle: the number of whom is as the sand of the sea.

(Perhaps he is imprisoned at the time of the second advent, and possibly released at the same time that the devil is let out of the bottomless pit.)

Therefore, Gog appears to be a powerful celestial creature, not simply a human leader, like, say, the head of Russia.

I'm not sure about how the power structure of the fallen celestial principalities and powers, operates, but clearly it has, and will again.

btw - at the second advent, the fallen celestial creatures will have already been on earth, since Michael and his angels had cast them out of heaven, along with the devil.

Then, as Jesus returns, he comes also with the angels of God.

Matthew 25:31a When the Son of man shall come in his glory, and all the holy angels with him,

Joel 3:11 Assemble yourselves, and come, all ye heathen, and gather yourselves together round about: thither cause thy mighty ones to come down, O LORD.

So, while Jesus is destroying the enemies of Israel:

Isaiah 63:1 Who is this that cometh from Edom, with dyed garments from Bozrah? this that is glorious in his apparel, travelling in the greatness of his strength? I that speak in righteousness, mighty to save.

  2 Wherefore art thou red in thine apparel, and thy garments like him that treadeth in the winefat?

  3 I have trodden the winepress alone; and of the people there was none with me: for I will tread them in mine anger, and trample them in my fury; and their blood shall be sprinkled upon my garments, and I will stain all my raiment.

Zechariah 14:12 And this shall be the plague wherewith the LORD will smite all the people that have fought against Jerusalem; Their flesh shall consume away while they stand upon their feet, and their eyes shall consume away in their holes, and their tongue shall consume away in their mouth.

Revelation 19:21a And the remnant were slain with the sword of him that sat upon the horse, which sword proceeded out of his mouth:

Will, at that same time, Michael, and the angels of God, be fighting on earth, against the same fallen celestial creatures that they had previously cast out of heaven?

Will people be able to see that fighting going on between celestial beings?

Will those fallen celestial beings, then, be locked up until the final judgment that will come after the thousand year kingdom?

Similar to those that were locked up long ago?

II Peter 2:4 For if God spared not the angels that sinned, but cast them down to hell, and delivered them into chains of darkness, to be reserved unto judgment;

Jude 6 And the angels which kept not their first estate, but left their own habitation, he hath reserved in everlasting chains under darkness unto the judgment of the great day.

So, is it possible that Michael will also be fighting against Gog, inside the land of Israel, while the LORD is simultaneously doing the following?

Ezekiel 38:22 And I will plead against him with pestilence and with blood; and I will rain upon him, and upon his bands, and upon the many people that are with him, an overflowing rain, and great hailstones, fire, and brimstone.

If so, then, will Michael also imprison Gog, to remain imprisoned during the thousand year kingdom, until released at the same time the devil is let out of the bottomless pit?
