"RE: John Tng: 02.07.24: year of the dragon"

John,
Yes, no coincidence with the Chinese New Year and the year of the dragon, today!
Like the "coincidence" of the path of the upcoming total eclipse entering the US at Eagle Pass, Texas.
That was an amazing account of the accident, and the near fatal aspect for you and your colleagues!
Some parts of some US cities make a big deal at the Chinese New Year, what about in Singapore?
Back in 1991, I was working in Fushun, at the time of the new year, there (year of the goat?).
Although it was extremely cold, everyone seemed to be outside, most of the time, for the festivities and firecrackers.
Those over 60 could remember what the Japanese had done in Manchuria.
But, everyone could remember only a year and a half earlier, over in Beijing, in Tiananmen Square.
So, what are many of the elderly Chinese thinking about, this year of the dragon?
What are the younger Chinese thinking about this year of the dragon?
Will there be internal strife in China in the year of the dragon?
When the antichrist does show up, will Chinese young people be drawn to him?

Hi Gino, CNY is a big deal here as well. Many parents here think the Year of the Dragon is a very auspicious year. Usually more babies are born this year than any other years.
