Egypt is freaking out at the mere thought of absorbing the so-called Palestinians. Egypt has made clear that they do NOT want them. A thought occurred to me after reading the article in the link. During the Exodus of the Bible, Egypt's pharaoh fought tooth and nail to halt the exodus of the Jewish people out of Egypt. Now that Israel is ridding themselves of Hamas supporting Palestinians, Egypt is panicked at the thought of having to absorb these Hamas supporting Palestinians. In a secular world, this would be called 'karma'. Huh! What you sew, you reap - what you do unto others, will be done to you. It's like it's all happening in reverse.

 

Nobody wants the Palestinian refugees. Not Egypt or Jordan or any of the surrounding Arab nations. They know they would simply be importing Hamas and Hezbollah. All of them are afraid of Iran's power - nuclear wise. Yet all of them desire to see Israel annihilated. It's quite the conundrum. Quite the head scratcher.
