This is
my response to the 2/18 post
GINO -
BABYLON'S FUTURE DESTRUCTION
(fivedoves.com) in which was
stated "Gino, you might have
gathered by now―from my writing―that I
do not subscribe to an individual antichrist ‘person’ whose body is supposed to
rise from the dead in the last days (as
per the Left Behind ‘fiction’ books)!"
As you read down through Rev. chapter 13,
the pronouns he, his and him are used to
describe the beast who is the
Antichrist. If the beast was just a
kingdom that was revived, the pronoun used
would be the word "it." But instead it
says, His deadly wound was
healed. They worshipped the dragon and the
beast (a person). A kingdom is not
worshipped. And he was given a mouth
speaking blasphemies. A kingdom
doesn't have a physical mouth to speak
blasphemies. And it was given unto him
to make war with the saints and to overcome
them. And all on earth shall worship him
whose names are not written in the book of
life of the Lamb.
Then
there is the 2nd beast (the False Prophet)
Rev. 13:12 "who exerciseth all the power of the first beast (a person) before him, and causeth the earth and them which dwell therein to worship the first beast (a person), whose deadly wound was healed. And deceiveth them that dwell on the earth by the
means of those miracles which he had power to do in the sight of the beast (a
person); saying to them that dwell on the earth, that they should make an image to the beast (a
person), which had the wound by a sword, and did live. Here is wisdom. Let him that hath understanding count the number of the beast (a
person): for it is the number of a man; and his number is Six hundred
threescore and six."
Rev. 16:13, "And I saw three unclean spirits like frogs come out of the mouth of the
dragon, and out of the mouth of the beast
(a person who has a mouth), and out of the mouth of the false prophet."
Rev. 19:20, "And the
beast (a
person) was taken, and with him the false prophet that
wrought miracles before him (a
person), with which he
deceived them
that had received the mark of the
beast, and them
that worshipped his image
(the image of a person.) These
both were
cast alive into a lake of fire burning with brimstone."
The beast (a person) and
the false prophet are both
alive when they are cast
into a lake of fire
burning with brimstone."
Also who is "the son
of perdition" in 2 Thess. 2:3-4, if he is
not the Antichrist, who is a person (a man)?
2 Thess.
2:3-4, "Let no man deceive you by any means: for that
day shall not come,
except there
come a
falling away first, and that
man of
sin be
revealed, the
son of
perdition; Who opposeth and exalteth himself
above all that
is called God, or that
is worshipped; so that
he as God sitteth in the
temple of
God, shewing himself that he
is God."
"It is not Rome who reigns over the
Kings of the earth today (Rev. 17:18); Rome
has no adequate military power unless anyone
deigns to think the 130 strong Gendarmerie
Corps of Vatican City, and the 135 Swiss
Guards in the Vatican Army are a formidable
force! The Vatican has the World’s smallest
army, and it surely bears no resemblance to
the end time armies mentioned in Revelation
(e.g., the Angel-Kings’ armies from east of
the Euphrates, which number 200 million,
when a third of mankind is killed in a war
that lasts for an hour, a day, a month and a
year (Rev. 9:13–21; 16:12), which involves
the kings of the earth and of whole world,
who are gathered to fight the battle of
Armageddon (Rev. 16:14), viz., kings,
generals, the mighty, the flesh of all
people, free and slave, great and small, who
are gathered to fight in a battle where the
birds are invited to feast on the
left-overs! (Rev. 19:17–21)."
Although Rome doesn't currently
rule over the kings of the Earth today, the
Pope & the Vatican City inside of Rome
may very well in the future be in a
religious alliance (Chrislam which would be
apostate Christianity & Islam) with an
Islamic military leader who will be the
Antichrist and with the ten nations in the
territory out of the old Roman Empire that
will be revived who have armies. In fact the
woman as Mystery Babylon the Great (Vatican
City inside Rome) is shown sitting on a
scarlet coloured beast in Rev. 17:3 full of names of blasphemy, having seven heads and ten horns. And Rev.
17:12-14 says, "And the ten horns which thou sawest are ten kings, which have received no kingdom as yet; but receive power as kings one hour with the beast. These have one mind, and shall give their power and strength unto the
beast. These shall make war with the Lamb, and the Lamb shall overcome them: for he is Lord of lords, and King of kings: and they that are
with him are called, and chosen, and faithful."
So it is the armies of these 10
kings (horns) who fight against
the Lamb, the Lord Jesus Christ
when he returns and the Vatican
City will be destroyed when the
ten kings turn against the Vatican
City and destroy it with fire.
Rev. 17:16 says, "And the ten horns which thou sawest upon the beast, these shall hate the whore, and shall make
her desolate and naked, and
shall eat her flesh, and burn
her with fire." Rev. 19:19
also says, "And I saw the
beast, and the
kings of the
earth, and their armies, gathered
together to make war against him that
sat on the
horse, and against his army."
