JACOB AND ISRAEL ARE ONE AND THE SAME.........

Jacob and Israel are one and the same therefore  "the time of Jacob's trouble"  is the same event as the Gog-Magog War of trouble exclusively upon the Nation of Israel according to : 

Abraham was the father of Isaac, Isaac was the father of Jacob, and Jacob was the father of the 'Nation of Israel' according to :

2 Kings 17:34

"....which the Lord God commanded THE CHILDREN of JACOB, WHOM HE NAMED ISRAEL."

Genesis 35:10

"And God said unto him, Thy name shall NOT be called anymore JACOB,  but ISRAEL SHALL BE THY NAME. , and He called HIS NAME ISRAEL."

Jeremiah 30:7 ( Describes the Gog-Magog War )

"Alas! For that day is great so that none is like it. It is THE TIME OF JACOB/S TROUBLE , but he shall be SAVED OUT OF IT." 

Ezekiel 38 :16  ( Describes the Time of Jacob's Trouble )

"And thou shall come up AGAINST MY PEOPLE OF ISRAEL . It shall be in the latter years that I WILL BRING THEE AGAINST MY LAND , O' GOG,".....

Because God declared Jacob and Israel to be ONE AND THE SAME the "Time of Jacob's Trouble", and the 'Gog-Magog War' of trouble against Israel are BOTH the very same event  of trouble / tribulation  exclusively upon the Nation of Israel. 

The following Scripture tells us how many of the people of Israel are "SAVED OUT OF IT" according to :

Zechariah 13:8-9

"And it shall come to pass that in ALL THE LAND ( of Jacob / Israel ) saith the Lord God, TWO PARTS ( 66% ) THEREIN SHALL BE CUT OFF AND DIE , but THE THIRD ( 33% ) SHALL BE LEFT THEREIN.

And I WILL BRING THE THIRD PART THROUGH THE FIRE . 

SO, THERE YOU HAVE IT : 

The "time of Jacob's trouble" IS NOT THE GREAT TRIBULATION JUDGMENT WHICH COMES UPON THE WHOLE WORLD AFTER THE RAPTURE , but rather  IT IS THE GOG-MAGOG WAR OF TRIBULATION JUDGMENT WHICH COMES EXCLUSIVELY UPON THE NATION OF ISRAEL IMMEDIATELY  BEFORE THE RAPTURE OF THE CHURCH.  

The SIGNS of BLOOD, FIRE, and SMOKE that God has promised TO SHOW US BEFORE THE RAPTURE are caused by the TIME OF JACOB'S TROUBLE which is also the Gog-Magog War exclusively upon the Nation of Israel.
