"REPLY TO GARRY B. -- Noah Did Not Leave The Ark on Nisan 1"

In reply to your 2/19 post "AS IT WAS IN THE DAYS" (fivedoves.com) you stated that Noah exited the ark on Nisan 1 which is incorrect.  During both Adam's & Noah's time the 1st day of the 1st month was Tishri 1 on the Jewish Civil Calendar which later became the 1st day of the Feast of Trumpets.  It wasn't until the time of Moses that Nisan 1 previously called Abib 1 became the 1st day on the Jewish Religious calendar which was the month they observed the Passover. (Exodus 12:1-3, "And the LORD spake unto Moses and Aaron in the land of Egypt, saying, This month shall be unto you the beginning of months: it shall be the first month of the year to you. Speak ye unto all the congregation of Israel, saying, In the tenth day of this month they shall take to them every man a lamb, according to the house of their fathers, a lamb for an house:"  Exodus 13:2-4, "And Moses said unto the people, Remember this day, in which ye came out from Egypt, out of the house of bondage; for by strength of hand the LORD brought you out from this place: there shall no leavened bread be eaten. This day came ye out in the month Abib.")

However, Noah didn't exit the ark on Tishri 1 either.  He exited the ark with his family in the 2nd month on the 27th day according to the Bible verses below.  The 2nd month on the civil calendar was called Cheshvan so Noah and his family exited the ark on Cheshvan 27.

Genesis 8:13-19, "And it came to pass in the six hundredth and first year, in the first month, the first day of the month, the waters were dried up from off the earth: and Noah removed the covering of the ark, and looked, and, behold, the face of the ground was dry.  And in the second month, on the seven and twentieth day of the month, was the earth dried.  And God spake unto Noah, saying, Go forth of the ark, thou, and thy wife, and thy sons, and thy sons' wives with thee. Bring forth with thee every living thing that is with thee, of all flesh, both of fowl, and of cattle, and of every creeping thing that creepeth upon the earth; that they may breed abundantly in the earth, and be fruitful, and multiply upon the earth. And Noah went forth, and his sons, and his wife, and his sons' wives with him: Every beast, every creeping thing, and every fowl, and whatsoever creepeth upon the earth, after their kinds, went forth out of the ark."
