Hello John and Doves,
Looks like we're in a headlong rush to the
abyss....direct war with Russia (and China and Iran).
Russia said they are preparing for a 30 month long
war. China is on the offensive in the Pacific.
General MacGregor said as the war drags on, there are more
chances of a serious mistake being made and we find
ourselves facing Russia in combat.
Senator
McConnell staunchly believes that "defeating the Russians
in Ukraine is the single most important event going on in
the world right now."
Personally, I'm not convinced we have any
business in Ukraine. This is between Russia and
Ukraine. Ukraine is NOT a NATO nation. Russia
and Ukraine were close to a treaty early in April of last
year, when old Boris Johnson flew to Kyiv and talked
Zelensky out of it. What was that about?? A
treaty would have ended this mess.
This was not missed by the Ukrainian
people. "The Ukrainian news outlet Ukrayinska Pravda
reported Thursday that British Prime Minister Boris Johnson
used his surprise visit to Kyiv last month to pressure
President Volodmymyr Zelensky to cut off peace negotiations
with Russia, even after the two sides appeared to have made
tenuous progress toward a settlement to end the war."
"The British government has become an obstacle
to peace in Ukraine by encouraging the continuation of the
war through huge arms shipments and incendiary rhetoric,
"Lindsey German, convenor of the U.K. based Stop the War
Coalition..."The conflict there is developing into a proxy
war between Russia and NATO and it is the Ukrainian people
who will suffer the consequences."
That was last April - the military weapons, and
money have continued to pour in to Ukraine - with the
majority of the money coming from the U.S. And here we
are almost a year after the initial invasion....and closer
to all out war than ever before!
As a US citizen, I am seeing no 'good reasons'
for the US to be in this war. This should have been between
Ukraine and Russia and ended with a treaty between Ukraine
and Russia. This has escalated into the US (and some
European allies) bombing the Russia-German pipelines and a
hit on the Crimea Bridge. This was an act of
war. Military equipment and ammunition has been
rolling across Europe into Ukraine from NATO countries for
months. Neither side is backing down. And
the West absolutely refuses to seek a peaceful resolution
to this conflict.
China on the Offense:
China supports Russia in the Ukraine-Russia war
- and it sure looks like China is making some
offensive moves recently:
Today, Feb 17, it came out in the news that the
"Contact between the U.S. and Chinese militaries has
come to a stop after the Chinese spy balloon that
flew over the U.S. was shot down earlier this month.
The White House said all communications between the two
militaries has "unfortunately" shut down, even as diplomatic
communications remain open, Reuters reported."
US,
Chinese military communication is closed says White House
I suppose Xi doesn't want to cut communications
to his lackey Joe Biden. But this sounds ominous: 'lines
of communication between US and Chinese military officials
have reportedly been closed."
The U.S. House of Representatives passed a
resolution condemning the Chinese spy balloon's intrusion
into U.S. airspace." And "has sanctioned six Chinese
entities...linked to Beijing's aerospace programs."
"On Wednesday, the Foreign Ministry (of China)
said it will take measures against U.S. entities somehow
related to the downing of the balloon, without giving
details...."In fact, it is the United States that
wantonly interferes in other countries' internal affairs,
violates their sovereignty, and conducts surveillance on
other countries,"...A range of Chinese government
departments have issues daily protests over how the U.S.
handled the issue, accusing Washington of overreacting and
violating "the spirit of international law".

blasts US over response to Chinese balloon incursion - ABC

Interesting. Even if
it was a private Chinese research balloon as the CCP
claims, it should not have been in US airspace without US
permission. "Me thinks thou dost protest too
much." The US had a perfect right to shoot the thing
down. China knows this.
And then today, February 17, "Japan has
revealed that three unidentified balloon-shaped objects
detected over Japan between 2019 and 2021 are now presumed
to be Chinese "spy balloons". It's the first time
Japan has announced the sightings...Japan and South Korea,
both U.S. allies, say they support the United State's
decision to shoot down the aerial objects...China has
repeatedly urged Japan not to follow the U.S. assertion that
China is sending surveillance balloons around the
world." Japan has a law that prevents them from
shooting down surveillance balloons - they can only "legally
use weapons to bring down aircraft violating Japanese
airspace..."

On February 14, The World Is One News (WION)
youtube channel reported on recent Chinese aggression:
"Is China preparing for a war in the Pacific? Here's
proof." WION global headquarters are in New Delhi.
"China is on the offensive." "Is China
provoking a new war?" They report on the military
grade laser used by the Chinese military on a Filipino coast
guard ship. Manila is angry about this 'attack'.
"China is ready to go to war....China has been preparing for
this war for quite some time now." Australia accused
China of shining a laser at a warplane - this was back in
2022.

So where does China stand with the Ukraine war?
"..there is growing evidence that the
Chinese leadership, instead of seeking to wind down the
war, is actually stepping up economic support for Russian
President Vladimir Putin, implicitly encouraging Moscow to
continue the conflict....Beijing shows no sign of
backing off its pro-Russia neutrality." To date, China
has been providing "non-lethal military assistance and
economic support"...to Russia.
"The war is at a turning point. Analysts
note that the course of the war is more uncertain now than
it has been for months. With the Russian and Ukrainian
militaries both facing ammunition shortfalls and other
logistical constraints, any military support for Moscow
could prove decisive, even if Chinese companies provide only
"non-lethal" assistance." President Xi has let Chinese
companies know that they will "not be punished for exporting
critical material (military-relevant equipment) to Russia."

Growing Economic Support for Russia – The Diplomat
So what
news is coming out of the Ukraine war?
Seems Ukraine is drafting 'young girls and
minors ' - they have lost so many of their fighting force of
men. Ukraine is dealing with terribly high loses on
the front. The Pentagon adviser Colonel Douglas
MacGregor reported the loss of 257,000 Ukrainians in the
fighting. MacGregor also reported that the
Russian General staff is preparing for a 30 month war with
NATO and the U.S. The Russian war
equipment and ammunition factories are working 24/7.
In an interview with Judge Napolitano, General MacGregor
says we don't have the ammo to send. We don't have the
surge capacity for missiles, rockets, etc.
General Milley said Russia has lost.
Which is a lie. MacGregor says what the U.S. military
says about Russia,' turn it around and apply it to the
Ukrainians'. Milley aligns with the left and has a
poor reputation in his military career.
General MacGregor doesn't believe the Chinese
spy balloon really collected much information. He said
the Chinese have 300 spy satellites. 100 are military.
So no shortage of ways for the Chinese to get
intelligence. Chinese can find out what they want
without relying on a balloon that pretty much goes where the
Jet Stream takes it. And then there are thousands of
Chinese in our university and corporate laboratories.
And he said thousands of illegal Chinese are coming over our
southern border. He also said that the Chinese are not
postured to give a first nuclear strike. He said be
skeptical about balloon information from the U.S.
government. And the Russians have more satellites than
the Chinese.
Concerning Seymour Hersh, MacGregor says
everything Hersh wrote about the bombing of the pipeline is
plausible. He said this was an act of war. Hersh
is an honest man. His track record is excellent.
He thinks the bombing was unnecessary. Makes it harder
to end the conflict. Washington is acting like they
are immune to any kind of retaliation or punishment for
bombing these pipelines.
14,000 ethnic Russians were killed in those two
Ukrainian-Russian autonomous republics since 2014. This is
what Putin wanted addressed - the violence against Russian
citizens living in Ukraine. But the West has
repeatedly refused to honor anything that the Russians said
or thought or did - we treated it all with contempt.
How do we put an end to this?? Russia is
up against, not only Ukraine but the US and NATO.
General MacGregor said that NATO is
ultimately the United States of America.
NATO countries have supported the US in almost anything the
US has wanted. The German people need to wake up -
their pipeline was bombed.
How long can this drag on before a serious
mistake is made and we find ourselves in direct combat with
Russia?
MacGregor said prepare for a long
war.

All it takes is one downed
warplane or one sunk military ship - and we've got full
blown WW3. Many believe WW3 has already started.
And as both sides run out of
ammunition - what will be the default weapons?
