Revelation 16:8 And the fourth angel poured out
his vial upon the sun; and power was given unto him to
scorch men with fire.
9 And men were scorched with great heat,
and blasphemed the name of God, which hath power over
these plagues: and they repented not to give him glory.
(Apparently
the angel doesn’t have to fly 93 million miles to do
this.
It
would seem that angels are able to come out of heaven,
like from another dimension, to come out exactly where
they need to be.
The
pouring out of his vial affects the sun, so that with
the power given to him, he can scorch men with fire.
This
may happen in various parts of the world, but this is
not global warming, he does not heat up the atmospheric
temperature.
But
rather he is able to direct this, and scorch men with
actual fire.
We all
have seen when a grill flares up, that the flame
touches, and scorches the meat on the grill.
So, are
these specific, targeted solar flares, that reach far
enough to scorch men?
Or is
this something unique, a special power never seen
before?
Plants
and animals are not mentioned as being scorched or
burned up, nor does it mention cities being burned up.
Nor
does it even mention that any men are killed by this.
So, is
the angel able to direct something from the sun, to
scorch the men, without scorching or burning anything
else, or killing anyone?
If so,
then this may not be a full worldwide judgment, but
targets specific places and people.
Also,
Jesus’ own will probably be protected, like Israel was
in Goshen, while Egypt was plagued.)
(For
many years I heard or read that all the seal, trumpet,
and vial judgments are fully worldwide, like:)
Revelation 6:8 And I looked, and behold a pale
horse: and his name that sat on him was Death, and Hell
followed with him. And power was given unto them over the fourth part of the earth, to kill with sword, and with hunger, and with death,
and with the beasts of the earth.
Revelation 9:18 By these three was the third part of men killed, by the fire, and
by the smoke, and by the brimstone, which issued out of
their mouths.
(That
these two, alone, kill half the population of the world.
e.g. 8
billion people: ¼ is 2 billion killed, leaving 6
billion, then ⅓ is 2 billion,
leaving 4 billion, which is half of the original 8.
However,
it doesn’t explicitly say that all the judgments are
fully worldwide.
And
that the majority of the world is dead by the time of
the 6th vial.
And
that all the oceans are destroyed, and that all the
fresh water of the world is blood, nor that most of the
planet is burned up.
Because,
then it would be difficult for all those ruined nations,
to instead of having their armies help rescue
survivors,
put out
fires, deliver food, and rebuild their country, to
instead, suddenly send all their armies to Armageddon at
the 6th vial.
Also,
in Revelation 6:8 it doesn’t say that they kill a fourth
part of the earth,
but,
rather, it appears that they are given power over the
fourth part of the earth, to be able to kill people in
that fourth part of the earth.
Also,
for Babylon to be still living deliciously as late as:)
Revelation 16:19
And the great city was divided into three parts, and the
cities of the nations fell: and great Babylon came in
remembrance before God, to give unto her the cup of the
wine of the fierceness of his wrath.
And
that Babylon still living deliciously as late as :)
Revelation 18:7 How much she hath glorified
herself, and lived
deliciously, so much torment and sorrow give her: for she
saith in her heart, I sit a queen, and am no widow, and
shall see no sorrow.
(And
for trading merchants to only then, at the destruction
of Babylon, in chapter 18, to weep and mourn:)
Revelation 18:11 And the merchants of the earth
shall weep and mourn over her; for no man buyeth their
merchandise any more:
(Also,
Jesus is probably not plaguing believers during the
tribulation, either.)
(However,
the result of these plagues, is for men to blaspheme the
name of God, which has power over these plagues.
They
know that it is the wrath of Jesus:)
Revelation 6:16 And said to the mountains and
rocks, Fall on us, and hide us from the face of him that
sitteth on the throne, and from the wrath of the Lamb:
17 For the great day of his wrath is
come; and who shall be able to stand?
(So,
apparently, that is the name that they blaspheme, the
name of Jesus.
It says
that they repented not to give him glory.
Do they
purposely do this in order for Jesus to not be glorified
by their repentance?
What
madness this really is, since Jesus is glorified not
only if they repent, but also for his righteous judgment
on those who won’t.
Also,
this indicates that at this very late moment in the
tribulation, Jesus is still looking for people to repent
and believe:)
II Peter 3:9 The Lord is not slack concerning
his promise, as some men count slackness; but is
longsuffering to us-ward, not willing that any should
perish, but that all should come to repentance.
