I am going to state something that will be highly controversial. Maybe (a BIG maybe) the rapture happens as a result of the Psalm 83 war and the church will not be here to witness the Ezekiel 38 war? I will explain my thinking.

It is my (scripturally guided) belief that the Psalm 83 war results in the Isaiah 17 prophecy about Damascus being utterly destroyed. This war - with Israel being the victor - will cause all the nations to turn on Israel a la Ezekiel 38. Victory for Israel, in the Psalm 83 war, will result in Israel obtaining huge swathes of land around her. Israel will have control of vast amounts of oil and gas. And although Israel will be battered and bruised from this war - she will feel secure. Israel will have bombed the heck out of all the Iranian proxies who are stationed in the very nations specifically named in Psalm 83. Israel will have annihilated Damascus. Completely blitzed Damascus - according to Isaiah 17. Meanwhile - back at the ranch in the far north - all the nations are warring with each other over control of Ukraine and the surrounds. The world's armies will be in the "far north". Including (and especially) the USA. In Ezekiel 38, Almighty God puts an evil thought into their heads and a hook in their jaws - turning them around and bringing them down to the region of Israel. To "take a spoil".

Given the above scenario - which is very credible - the world is going to be in total chaos. A world war is being fought in the far north (Russia/Ukraine etc) Major nations are involved in that war. Iran takes advantage of the chaos and launches the Psalm 83 war using it's proxies stationed in and around Israel. This causes the warring nations, who are all engaged in battle in the far north, to unite and attack Israel . Israel, who thinks she has obliterated all threats against her, is surprised and shocked by this attack.

My thought is that the Ezekiel 38 war brings massive death and destruction to all. Therefore - the events in Revelation 6 and 7 take place during the Psalm 83 war. Where 144,000 are sealed and "the woman" is taken into hiding and safety. Because when the Ezekiel 38 war kicks in, it will be catastrophic. It will be murderous. If the Bride and the Woman aren't protected and hidden - they too would be part of that destruction.

We need to keep our eyes peeled for a Psalm 83 attack against Israel. Because, when this happens, we need to lift up our heads as our redemption draws near.
