Putin met with Xi Friday at the
start of the Winter Olympics...in a "show of solidarity and
shared grievance calibrated to challenge the U.S.-led world
order amid a tense diplomatic standoff on Ukraine. Their
sweeping joint statement to mark the occasion was a unified
blast at the United States...President Biden's absence from
the spectacle - having ordered a diplomatic boycott in
protest of Beijing's human rights abuses - underscrored the
not-so-subtle subtext of Friday's Olympic event: the
renewed division of the world..into two camps, China and
Russia versus the United States and its allies."

Russia "firmly support each other in safeguarding their core

The Winter Olympics started on
February 4 and end on February 20, 2022.

The U.S. officials say "other
destabilizing Russian actions in Ukraine could begin any
time, including the destruction of bridges and the targeting
of political leaders." And the US intelligence
assessment on Ukraine is ominous." "As of Friday,
there were 83 Russian battalion tactical groups, with about
750 troops each, arrayed for a possible assault, according
to the assessment. That is up from 60 two weeks ago and
comprises about 70% of what Russia would need for
full-scale invasion."

Last week I reported on 6
amphibious Russian landing ships - well, these showed up at
the Russian base in Syria - they are supposedly headed to
the Black Sea soon. (If they stay and unload in Syria
this would be bad.)
Mid-February would put us at the
end of Winter Olympics. Maybe Xi/CCP plan on releasing
a more deadly virus at the end of the Olympics.
General McInerney discussed this in a recent interview
(mentioned in Doves letter last week). Xi could finish
his Olympics and finish preps for attacking Taiwan and Putin
can finish getting his military in place.
At this Olympics meeting, Xi and
Putin firmed up their alliance to take on the
U.S./allies. America is their common foe.
Guess the world doesn't have enough
to deal with.....it's called judgment.
